Just had a quick look at the tv listings and can't see an FA Cup highlights show on tonight. Does anyone know if Sky or someone else have one on? I really want to see Nando's goals!!!

Thats the quality of the guy! I really hope this game will have seen his gremlins disappear and we will now see the £50m's worth!

Didn't see the game, it's on bloody Setanta here in OZ. Can someone give me a rundown of how everyone played ? And please don't rubbish a player because you don't like him ( like I do to Ashley Cole ) !!!

    Here goes!

Cech - pulled off a couple of brilliant saves when the pressure was piled on and nothing he could do about both goals - 8/10

Bosingwa - fairly quiet game but didn't do much wrong to my surprise - 7/10
Ivanovic - strong all game as usual and put in a brilliant shift, maybe should've done better for their 1st - 8/10
Cahill - same as Ivan, had a storming game but did make a couple of mistakes, brilliant pairing with Ivan - 9/10
Bertrand - can't remember him putting a foot wrong, terrific young player and should play a lot more - 8/10

Mikel - Average game from him, some good tackles and did his job as anchorman - 7/10
Meireles - saw him make a few mistakes but he had a top class 2nd half and was skinning people for fun - 8/10

Sturridge - bit greedy in his final product but absolutely ripped their left back to pieces - 7/10
Mata - as per, put in a great shift with pin point passing, he was out muscled on occasion but good game - 9/10
Kalou - decent game, linked up well with Mata and Bertrand and topped it off with a goal - 8/10

Torres - our star man, 2 goals 2 assists. I thought it'd be one of those days when his first couple of efforts were saved by Kasper but he didn't stop trying - 10/10

    Subs:

Malouda - played well when he came on and a lot better than usual. I think playing him more central could pay off - 8/10

Essien - didn't think he was brilliant, gave the ball away a couple of times but still his powerful self - 6/10

Luiz - Didn't have sufficient time on the ball or time to do much to judge to be honest so won't give him a rating.

Don't shoot me if you don't agree <yikes>

A good assessment overall Drogs! The only one I'd query is the generous score for Sturridge! He really does need to think about linking up with those around him! It is the thing that will distinguish him from Torres .... and today Torres came out miles ahead!

Yes, 9 is probably a bit high <laugh>. I'll bump him down to 7 <ok>

Agree with everything Drogs said apart from the bit about Kalou. (No, I don't like him) - he was ****ing woeful AGAIN, kept giving the ball away, getting it stuck under his two left feet, never chased the ball down and this aerial challenges were pathetic. Thank god Nando handed the ****er his chance on a plate. The bloke is a liability and thank **** he'll be gone in the summer. Hopefully to the scum where he'll be just as useless. AND DON'T FORGET, WE WERE PLAYING LEICESTER!
Surprised with Malouda's contribution when he came on, thought he did well.

The good thing is that the players seem to be playing again instead of sulking. The atmosphere under AVB must've been awful. We shall see how much things have improved on Wednesday, a true test of the players resolve.

    Drogs, what a hero !!!
Seems like most of the team played well. Thank you for your assessment, which very few disagree with, apart from the usual "mikel is useless, malouda should be shot " comments, and they go straight in the bin.
How good to see Torres on the scoresheet !!! How sad to see press reaction " I feel the manager has faith in me unlike the previous one " bollocks.
The better we play now , the worse it reflects on our players under AVB.
That is for someone above my station to ponder.
What we need now is to continue to up the ante starting with Man City. Tough, but like us, a team torn apart by salaries, bruised egos', under performers as a team ,and a Manager not totally in control. Never a better time to take them on. Lets' see how committed AND how good our oldies really are. My guess??? About half as good as we think we are.
    Man City 3 Chelsea 1

Good ratings mate. I think Mikel deserves higher than a 7. He is solid in possession, can't be muscled off the ball and his pass success rate must be in the 90%+

Wouldnt shoot anyway. Thank you, really makes a difference when you are so far from the action, to understand from someone who really assess the performances with a fair and honest reply. Next game another final. They will have to beat us, because we will not roll over. Still think we don't have the mental strength to beat the top teams.

I know how a lot of people feel about Bosingwa/Kalou/Malouda/Mikel and I share those opinions! But yesterday all of them played very well and credit where it's due.

Still want them all to f*** off in the summer though <laugh>

I wonder what people expect from Mikel sometimes. He does the job he's asked to do and a succession of world class managers have been happy with his contribution.

Thought Mikel and Malouda were decent yesterday Drogs, Bosingwa had his moments but thank god he wasn't up against much but unfortunately I thought Kalou was very poor once again. I wish Mikel would take fewer touches, a couple of times yesterday he nearly got in trouble because of it & he could've also set up some decent counter attacks had he been quicker witted.
