OK we are on 72 now which is better than any of us could have imagined. How many more do we need to get an automatic spot? I think I remember 84 being quoted previously but personally I think that now looks a bit low.

I reckon 87 or 88 should be enough. That would mean West Ham getting at least 7 wins from their last 10 games one of which is against Reading.

I think it'll be higher than that, about 90

Good discussion point, but I just want a nice gap between us and third. I have great faith in WHU to help us there.

It's a constantly evolving picture, but at the moment I would say 6 wins out of 9 will take us to the premier league. 90 points.

Win our remaining home games and get draws away and that will be enough. Fingers crossed it doesn't go to the last game of the season. I will be a nervous wreck, much like everyone else.

We will remain unbeaten the rest of the season.

The difference between us and Huddersfield last season is that we're not keeping our best player on the bench like they did with Rhodes!

Agreed. The point I was making was that we do need to win more games than we draw to be sure of promotion. IF we win the next 2 games we will be back on a 2 points per game average. Then we need to keep that average up over the remaining 7 games. That will definitely do it!

I am confient of beating Doncaster, but I would definitely take a point at Hull. Difficult place to go, especially on a Tuesday evening.

Winning is the most important thing and yesterday showed our resilience and fitness in causing situations where you may get penalties, but I would like to see us give a good performance on Tuesday and show we are the best team in the league. In too many games, we've had poor first halves...and one day we will get punished for that.

Anything below 90, I'd be surprised if it's enough. Anything below 86, I'd be amazed if it's enough.

Need to be targeting the two-points-per-game average of 92, as has been the target all along. If we beat Hull and Doncaster over the next week (which I don't believe we will by the way), then we'll once again be exactly on course for those 92 points.

So Hull away next. The best attack in the league vs the best defence...the difference is our defence is pretty good too whereas they often struggle for goals. A win in this one would be brilliant but a draw wouldn't be bad. One thing that we can be sure of...Jos will score, its a Tuesday game!

How many points will we need is still too tough to call! I really cannot look any further ahead than the next game. We just need to match West Ham's results i guess.

If I had to guess where we would drop points, I have a feeling we may lose to Doncaster and Blackpool.
Hope to be completely proven wrong.
