He must wonder what he has to do when we play a CM at RM and a RM as a ST On another note, the forum seems very quiet today?
Guly in there when we now aren't short of strikers says one thing to me. Man U style one striker dropping into midfield when we haven't got the ball. Lets see what happens rather than get our PES/FIFA heads on.. Adkins is the man
Guly is much better in the hole than on the right midfield anyway. Second half last weekend he was fantastic just behind the striker! He will cause millwall problems today. I predict Sharp will come on and score in the second half!
I'm slightly surprised to see Guly ahead of Sharp, but that's it. Only slightly. Whilst he might not be an out and out striker, Guly has regularly done a decent job at job. And it also allows us to change formation more easily, something which Adkins is quite to do two or three times per game, without having to bring subs on. Guly can easily play in at least three different positions. Just so long as Sharp gets more than just a cameo 10 or 15 mins at the end (how is he meant to prove himself, both to Adkins and [arguably more importantly] to those fans who are criticising him/us for signing him, in that short space of time?), then I'm happy.
Adkins has faith in Guly...remember this is a player who has scored 11 goals this season. Sharp will no doubt get on as a sub later, but NA prefers to go with the tried and tested at the start. Think we should trust Nige as he has done reasonably well since he joined Saints
Guly haters vs Sharp haters. I notice that Taylor is thrown into Millwall's starting XI. Good to see him playing as an ex-Saint, but even more so as an ageing keeper who has hardly played in the last two years.
Joey seriously what's your love affair with Sharp about? He has done nothing for us, Granted he's not been given much of a chance but he's looked jaded and not up to speed when he does have a chance.
Stop calling people an idiot for differing opinions ffs, Just because you don't agree doesn't mean they are idiots
I don't have a love affair with him. He was £1.8 million very well spent. Just because he hasn't played yet doesn't mean he's a bad signing. He needs to get used to the way we do things and take his chance when he gets it, which he hasn't really had yet, but will no doubt get during the next 10 games. Grow a pair of bollocks. It's quite clear that they are idiots moaning about sharp, even if their reasons are differing.
Agreed. I disagree with you over Harding for example, but I wouldn't call you an idiot over it, and I don't believe that I ever have (apologies however if I have).
Don't let it bother you mate! If he wants to speak to people Like that let him carry on. He thinks hes a banker in his dreams really he's just a maths teacher for a primary school.
Thats because he has had the time to gel with the starting XI. The more time he gets the better he gets.
