ffs Boston Bob let down all of my accumulator bets. Just not good enough, but Ruby should've sat closer to the pace.

Watch the race back again lads (and lasses, sorry :)) - that is some seriously fluent hurdling from Brindisi Breeze - he absolutely pinged every hurdle. Brilliant.

Lol that will never beat Boston bob again either what a poor festival. Ruby at his worst there 20 lengths down 1 out

We can all sit here and say Boston Bob was too far off the pace (and he probably was) but I actually think that it's one thing getting to a horse but another passing a horse as tough and as game as Brindisi Breeze. He'll find more, somehow, up the hill. I'd love him to have another season over hurdles because he's so good over them but I'd imagine they'll want to get him chasing.

Best EW bet of the day, didnt expect him to win but hey didnt he do well 11/1 last night too

Come on Kauto, but think Synchronised will be the closest challenger

I think Walsh had every right to expect the leaders to come back more and he was chasing up the horse a long way out. He still came to win his race and was then outbattled. I don't see how you can blame him for that.

its a breeze up NAP of the day goes in at 10/1 for me. What a comeback from a truly shocking two days. Nice prospect for next year's world hurdle - beat a good un in Boston Bob

It's a great performance by the winner, lets be fair. Not many make all over 3m. I do understand the frustrations, especially when you have Boston Bob with so much stamina held up that far away. I think if I'm honest with myself, I've totally bought the hype this festival and been completely undone by it at times. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

All I ask for this afternoon is for Kauto to get round safe and perhaps finish a wonderful career at the top of his game, win or lose.

Put the winnings from the last race on Long Run - he was so dominant in the race last year, will stay on up the hill better than anything else and I'd actually have him as an EVS shot against this field. The only serious rival is Kauto Star and he won't get up the hill.
