I can see the FA Cup being a priority in terms of trophy wear this season, but considering our old guard did the most of 120mins last night, what team you reckon Di Matteo will field?

I'd like to see something like this (purely based on youth and resting key players)

    Cech
    Bos, Cahill, Luiz, Bertrand
    Mikel, Piazon, Mata
    Sturridge, Lukaku, Malouda

Then the obvious lamps, jt, torres etc on the bench incase things go tits up.

Not taking anything away from Leicester, they are a quality squad and we are in for a tough game!

I'd play Romeu insted of Mkel who imo is total crap can't shoot can't pass and is way way too slow, also like Lucky said play Torres, not sure bout the kid Lakaku only seen him a couple of times and i must say not at all impressed, seems like a big lommox..... mind you i can remember saying that about Drogba years ago

One game away from Wembley, I wouldn't be so cocksure by fielding the reserves. OK --put the "seniors" (Drogs, JT , Lamps) on the bench--otherwise the rest full time regulars!

    Cech

    Bos Luiz Cahill Bertrand

    Mikel Merilies Ramires
    Kalou Torres Malouda

Agree with your thinking. Whoever we play , just a blend of youth and experience is the way to go. We're OK in defence with Luiz, Cahill Bertrand all in good form, we've got Romeu (if fit ) Meireles, Mikel, Piazon for midfield, but we're struggling up front. I'd stick with Torres and Sturridge or the kid Lukaku. Maybe we should change the formation and go 4 4 2 ???? One game at a time, the next is always like a final.

Wouldnt surprise me if he played and scored, you can see he was a world class striker before but for whatever reason its not working for him.

Last time we played your **** overpaid striker scored a cracker in Andriy Shevchenko.

Who do you think your dangerman will be? Juan Mata and Daniel Sturridge are about the only players who have impressed me this season from Chelsea

Just realised Piazon is playing in the youth cup semi-final today so that rules him out.

I do think we will see the 'old boys' on the bench though.

In terms of dangermen I can see Ramires being a big threat for your boys Proud fox (if he starts) the pace of the guy and agility is just ridiculous. Watch out for him!

    <ok>
    Cech
    Hutchinson, Cahill, Luiz, Bertrand
Essien, Romeu, Mikel Malouda (Can't believe I did that)
    Lukaku, Torres,

Essien still needs games if he's to get back to anywhere near his old self IMO.

    Agree with the Essien part.

He looked unfit vs Napoli, and imo harsh as it is I thought he was our worst player

I've see Mikel train live a few times as well as play matches of course and his ball control and first touch is excellent. I truly believe Chelsea have messed up someone who could of been a top attacking midfield or centre forward. His height and build are perfect for centre forward. Chelsea though had those areas well covered when he arrived and he was 're-trained' into a position alien to every game he had every played since he could kick a ball, merely because of his size and the team's need for a holding midfielder to break up attacks and be the platform for new ones. Chelsea have a recent history for trying to put square pegs into round holes. I've lost count of how many decent young mid fielders we forced into right backs over the years due to our need for a decent second. To be honest he isn't the best at it although he is competent. Mikel for his part did complain, but in the end it was do it and be in a top team on great wages or leave. I know what I'd of picked. Now I feel he is complacent and happy to be a squad member, all ambition and drive seem to be gone and he is happy just to mark time and doesn't stretch himself or feel he needs to perform at a higher level. I'm not advocating we should play him or keep him, but it is clear the player he has become is in great part down to our club.

The player you will need to watch out for is a man you know quite well from last season. Jermaine Beckford.

Kasper Schmeichel is a quality keeper and arguably the best outside the prem, Wes Morgan and Sol Bamba are absolute beasts at the back for us

If Chelsea play Luiz and Bertrand then Beckford should have no tougher day then a regular Championship side, Bertrand has played Leicester twice, didn't impress and Luiz looks rubbish.
Chelsea will find it tough beating Kasper Schmeichal in goal, very, very able shot stopper and probably better than a few Premier League goalkeepers and the best outside the Premier League. We will probably play Wes Morgan and Sol Bamba who are quality, if we sold Bamba we could probably get £3 million or £4 million for him, with Sean St Ledger on the bench and Matt Mills in reserve, we have the best Centre Backs in the Championship, Lloyd Dyer gave Manchester City problems last season, Ben Marshall has quality set pieces, Paul Gallagher can rival Beckham at Free kicks, and you all know what Jermaine Beckford is capable of.

Scares me really when you consider some of the squads you Chelsea fans are predicting against us; shows your indepth squad. Anyway, heres to a good game. Even if we lose, we should then concentrate FULLY on getting into the playoffs and if we do go up, we're going to spend silly money to get up to the right end of the Premier table.... Anyway, where the fook is Paulo Ferreira????

If David Luiz plays, I think you may well feel foolish calling him rubbish. Most Chelsea fans thought that 3 months ago, but now he's settled in with Terry AND Cahill, he's a whole lot better than rubbish.

As a Blue --I passionately want CFC to win. However , I really think its great to see sides like Leicester back in the latter stages of a great competition. If we do go out tomorrow I'll feel less pain than I would for a Prem side dumping us, but with all respect to LC--we just have to remove them from the FA Cup
