I remember when Chelsea were a club for the working man

True, very few have had our success recently and are still losers.

I actually agree with you this time - whatever Chelsea win or have won, you will always be losers - purely because you sold your soul to Murdoch <ok> I suspect most of the Chelse old boys follow Fulham or QPR now anyway!

LOL, Cunning.

Showoff, calm down, you did bring a load of chaps for the FA Cup game in 85... very impressive.

And especailly relative to your home support, one of the best turnouts EVER at the Bridge; three and a bit pens.

But you are CONFUSING your poor show for the Milk Cup game with the later FA Cup in the same season.

You obviously did not bother showing for the Milk Cup game like a lot of Wall. Us youngsters were very disappointed and thought you were a real let down... until the FA cup game.

We played an incredible 6 games in 9 days during that period: Sat Mon Wed Sat Mon WEd.

We rested some players on the Monday v Millwall, because of a THIRD QF Milk Cup replay v Wednesday two days after. We got another near 40k crowd v Shef W on the Wednesday (three near 40k crowds v them in a week).
So the Millwall game was secondary to the Sheff Wed game.

Great days. We took 5k away to Wigan, Leicester, Sheff Wed in nine days; and Wednesday brought 5k to us twice in a week.

You brought around 6-7k that Cup night.

But West Ham humiliated us that season far more than you ever did. Going in the Shed, West Stand, everywhere.

Only Galatasaray have got close in recent years to that.

I respect your honesty,

All the best,
