Were the Chelsea fans booing Torres when he was subbed? I know he hasn't been great since he joined, but that seems a bit OTT. Hardly going to inspire him, or do Chelsea fans see him as a flop already?

They were booing the decision to take him off...I hope...

i thought he looked good, got stuck in, some nice movement on and off the ball...time will tell, bit as I've said before I'll judge him on next season<ok.

Exactly that, the Chelsea fans couldn't be more behind Torres and are willing every kick and run he makes to turn into something. Believe me, they were booing the decision to take him off. We very very rarely boo individual players, we are not Arsenal.

was at the game yesterday and they werent booing at torres... they were booing because he had been playing well and we didnt want to have him taken off. its just people wanting another excuse to lay into chelsea and how bad our fans our for booing our own players off. we arent arsenal. want to say that man city fans were disrespectful to the japan minutes silence with a few of them singing. thankfully some told them to show respect... poor show from city and i havent even started on how badly they played. they came for a draw. we arent arsenal and though it may have worked against the gooners, not against us. if man city are the future of english football... god help us. poor show

City are a joke. Mancini has turned them into the most boring team in the league. How many defensive players can you play?? Regardless of yesterday's result we were in principle above city if we win our game in hand so knowing that they should have been trying to win. Without Tevez to carry that attack they are so poor going forward becuase only Silva looks any good in the final third.

I was also at the game yesterday and can confirm the booing was for taking Torres off and not directed at Fernando himself,I thought he done well yesterday and should have played the full 90 mins if just to boost his confidence a bit. Also sky plussed (is that a word ?!)the game and watched it today and did anyone see the look on Romans face when Torres came off,he looked ****in pissed off with Carlo<grr>
With regards to citeh,I hope Mancini stays for years cos their gonna win **** all with him,he is stifling them with negative tactics not making use of some top players.....thank ****.<laugh><laugh>

Does that mean Roman's gonna start "advising" again like he did with Shevchenko? That'll only end in tears...

And it also seems a bit harsh to be pissed off at Ancelotti for subbing Torres. 0-0 when substitution made, 2-0 at end of game. Good call, surely?

torres will be ok and i agree judge him next season when he has had a pre season with his new team mates and possibly new manager, but i cant help feeling after seeing luis surarez play maybe they could off done well together? and he is not for sale<ok> maybe we have the next christiano ronaldo on our books?

Its not just torres though, goal wise all our strikers are struggling. I think the recent change in the system has a lot to do with this. Cant help feel we should be playing 451 with torres or drogba up top and two from anelka/malouda/zhirkov/Kalou playing wide.

dont understand why chelsea dont go back to last season and play the team and the formation they did.i mean leave torres on the bench and play the players who gave you so much successs last season, then make sure torres has a great pre season then see how he goes next season.
