Garysfc, you should post more !!!!!!!!!!

We shouldn't and don't think we will sign a back up CB now unless there is a niggling problem with Jose or Jos. The enxt CB we sign needs to be ready made Premier League class.

I'm probably reading way too much into, but isn't the interview with Jaidi on the OS maybe us indirectly quashing these rumours? 'We're happy with our squad. We have options should our main players get injured'.

I don't think he will sign, Jos and Jose are doing fine, Martin is more then good enough and ready to slot in straight away, and Jaidi and potentially Seaborne could probably be called upon in the absolute of emergencies

To be honest I would be surprised if we were interested in Pearce. The only reason I can think of is if they don't think Seaborne will make it back. Bearing in mind Jaidi's contract is up in June. Somehow I'm not sure he is premier quality do you think?

The thought of Jaidi up against Agureo doesn't bear thinking about!

I think a centre back will be top of the shopping list for the summer regardless of how it ends. Seaborne has a lot of prove to remain 4th choice

Or look at it this way.... its another one of their better players who cant then play against us on April 7th.... tee hee hee

Or taking a player of their wage bill could help them stay alive till the end of the season enabling us to play them. After all by then it will be Saints 1st XI vs the Pompey youth and second reserve side.

As we all know from our last attempt at it in this division that you 'won't win anything with kids'. You can in the Prem as AF proved but not in this league. It's most definitely a man's league. I think Alan Hanson was talking about this division when he said that (where's the tongue in cheek smiley?)

Erk...premature talk of dealing with Aguero methinks. Would rather worry about Darius Henderson first.

We are never going to sign Pearce, why would we sign a player that has been...poor at best this season!

Plus he wouldn't sign for us.

Its the Sun making up rubbish as the derby approaches.

Next week they'll report that Lambert wants to move to Pompey <doh>
