The Gunners have been an embarrassment on the European stage for so many years. They are the standing joke of Europe - always qualifying for it, never winning it. Never with a hope of winning it, and always getting slaughtered by class Italian or Spanish opposition. I doubt any English man will forget that debacle against Barcelona for quite some time, as it was perhaps the blackest day in English football. The day after that match, I pretended I was Scottish.

In some ways, I'll be a little unhappy if Arsenal don't make 4th this season, because then I'll miss the spectacle of them being drubbed out of it, before the quarter finals.

Your right we won't make 4th, we will be third and Chelski 4th.

3rd is in the bag for us tbh. We are the best team in england right now and we have always been a momentue team. We have that impetus right now and I think we will fly through the rest of our games <ok>

Like the League Cup was in the bag for you? Let's face it, the "bag" has been remarkably empty lately.

Being the best team in England right now is all well and good, but there is a quarter of a season to go yet. A few good performances doesn't mean you can sustain this level. Just like the fans, the team seem to think that after a string of results they can light that cigar and sit back let it happen. Then they come up against one of those games they are supposed to "fly through" and get humiliated. Then the cracks begin to appear, other teams smell blood, etc etc etc. You are NOT the team you were, nowhere near it. Get used to it. Surely you must be by now.

One or two good performances, and several lucky ones. Once again, the Goons have one man, and one man only to thank for their current position.

How ironic, this was a spurs fan view of their own team 3 weeks ago lol!!

Would we? He's scored a little over 20% of our goals. Van Persie has scored 45% of yours.

How many assists and key contributions has Ade provided? At least VP is our own player, also he didn't beat the opposition defences on his own to get his goals, the majority came from the quality service provided by his team mates.

Like Benayoun and Henry?

What's your point, Topgun?
That you've loaned more players than we have, but that they've been less effective?
How is that a positive thing for Arsenal?

Henry played in 7 games, scoring 3 goals - his goals won you 2 games. Benayoun has played 17 games for you, scoring 2 goals - his goals won you 1 game.

Adebayor has played in 26 games, scoring 12 which won us 2 games and got us a draw.

That without your loan player you would not be third. Without our loan players we would still be where we are.

Not true. Just taking away their goals would make you 4 points poorer and may have meant you went out of the FA Cup a round earlier.

Only one of those goals won us a league game (and league position is what we are discussing), and how many games did Spurs win as a result of ade's assists and key contributions?

Very selective stats you have provided I wonder why?
