I'm so disappointed we didnt sign Hoilett in the January Transfer Window he would be ideal back up and rotation for Bale and Lennon, quick two good feet, decent pass and an ey for goal as proven at the weekend gone 2 goals left/right foot

Would have balanced the midfield at times like this with the injuries we have had, i even think he could do a great job backing up modric in the middle.

    Cheap too

Agreed, good player that would of provided Lennon with some much needed backup/competition.

Our short term transfer policy will cost us...

He seems to be on the verge of something big. To be fair, if I were him, the odd game here and there for Spurs wouldn't attract me. We just don't rotate enough to make those kind of signings.

TBH lennon is not the most realiable winger injury wise and I think he would come.

Drenthe is a good option as he will be avaliable on a free in the summer

Drenthe is an option, I just hope he doesn't have too much to do with Pienaar.

Of the two, Drenthe for me. Hoiletts name has only come up again because he scored a couple of goals, up till then he'd gone off the boil I thought. Its been said they won't come here to sit down and be back up, its not quite like that really, its the same conundrum for any young player wanting to step up, they know they won't walk straight into any top sides first 11 and will have to earn their place.

Agree, plus the ego of these players is amazing, the Hoilett's and Drenthe's will probably think they will be able to force their way in ahead of Lennon etc.

I've mentioned my admiration for Hoilett in the past, but he might get picked up by a foreign club, as they wouldn't have to pay a fee for him.
Bayern have been linked with him.

Drenthe's achilles heel does seem his temperament, loses it bit too quickly. I'd say slightly more natural talent than Hoilett, but the latter is far easier to manage.

Maybe a player like Hoilett could have forced Harrys hand to rotate more
