Steve, I'm not being 'precious' with our board, I enjoy the banter, ask JWM or welly or Mr. Plum, they are regular visitors on here and know how far to go, crikey, we've even had a campaign to adopt a couple of them!

the weird thing is, i think all city fans were generally pretty pleased with the point we won on sunday. we didn't play well, they did and yet we still didn't lose! it was a point gained rather than two lost in respect of how the game went, hence why we are all a little baffled by the original thread as we aren't exactly worried by the result. its true though, wigan should have just rolled over like the little team they are, in much the same way as little doncaster rolled over for you boys at portman road...

Just one thing from me. Dave only said that he'd been contacted about closing the thread. He never said by whom he had been contacted.
As Guru and Yorkiehamp know, being mods, you don't post any pms in public. If the complainer then complains to a higher deity eg Mick or Syd, then they can do more than we can to close threads etc.
Guess all I'm saying is don't shoot Dave - not until we get the key to the malt locker anyway
