Some people booed around me. I was completely furious by those that did. Reminds me of Doncaster last year, not really good is it.

if everyone else felt like i did, i was just happy to get a point in the end! i breathed a sigh of relief. booing was completely ridiculous and yet again its those people who turn up expecting a win because its wigan. football doesn't work like that!

*i'm not having a go at ILD before he says anything - i know he doesn't boo <ok>

Thanks for that, (recognition at last) :emoticon-0100-smile but, did you not read my post about canary call? What Ewan Roberts said? Maybe you should have a word in HIS ear.
    That is all.

Anyone read the John Ruddy article on BBC sport? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/norwich-city
Very interesting where he says, "We were sluggish by our own high standards that we've set," added Ruddy.

"I think you could feel that around the ground. The fans were waiting for something to happen rather than egging us on.

"The fans' expectation level here is extremely high. We were disappointed not to win our last home game against Manchester United.

"But it's a very valuable point from a below par performance."

Unfortunately, that is something we've always been guilty of from time to time.

If it's a sign of the passion for the club then I don't see the harm in people expressing their feelings at the time, to start with I was fuming over the booing but having thought about it.... Don't agree with it but I do agree with people being free to do so

Hmmm to me the performance on Sunday was a bit lack lustre & sluggish, in many ways similar to the game at Sunderland. We just couldn't seem to get going. I don't think we played particularly badly, but it was frustrating knowing we could do a whole lot better and I guess that was what attracted the booing though I personally would never boo my team. I'm just hoping that we get a similar reaction to the Sunderland match and go off on a mini run starting with a victory at Newcastle on Sunday.

Fully agree with this Rich44, it's all about passion, which people express in different ways. I didn't hear the booing, I never seem to, perhaps I block it out. The only time I heard it this year was at the Leicester FA Cup game, I was in the upper Barclay and I heard booing when Morison was taken off, directed at him I think, and again at the end of the game. Like you I don't agree with it or partake in it, but this is one of the points Iwan was making, "it's very expensive to go to football these days and peoples expectations are generally very high, so they get extremely dissapointed when those expectations aren't met, and I understand the booing on occasions". He also said that those who said at the beginning of the season that they would be very happy to finish 17th are misguided, you should always try and expect to get as high as you can, he wanted us to finish in the top half of the division and didn't see that as unreasonable. I found myself listening to this in amazement, I tend to agree with him to a degree, but was a bit shocked that he seemed to be taking the fans side.
I would just like to re-make the point that these may not be his exact words, but the point he's making is there for all to see, they are also NOT my words, I was just listening. I think that was probably the last time I'll listen to Canary call, it was making me very mental, 26.600 people were in the ground and saw what happened, some watched it on Sky, I can't remember any of the callers mentioning that they did either of those things, so what is their motivation for ringing up and making stupid comments! We live in a democracy where everyone has the right to free speech, and I will defend their right to that for ever, but I now choose to not listen to it anymore.
I seem to be a bit off topic so I'll leave it there.
