Thats not necessarily the case.

Depends how you spend the money.

However I dont think we would struggle.

The current PL is full of weak teams.

FFS Grant Holt is doing well.

Aussie.

The team from Wales thats come closest to winning something. Hardly **** all. It took a top 6 PL team a penalty shoot out to beat us.

Blackburn brushed aside.

I dont think QPR will go down - they would be a threat.

The others ive seen. None would challenge at the top of the Championship and they will lose players.

I think your worried. We aint far off at all. Pace out wide will do.

We could still do it this season thanks to the play off system. We are not one of the 3 best teams but if we go up who cares.

Glad you aint a Boycette. Is that why you emigrated.? Bit drastic.!

The championship is littered with former pl sides that are/were better Than 'the sides already there'. West brom got it right, keep bouncing till you're good enough to stay with solid finances behind you.

Cardiff will have todo an incredible amount of bouncing before they have solid finances behind them.

Hey Guys,

Stop Biting! The original post was a windup, and in fairness the following discussions seemed honest enough. Then (in my opinion) it got a little condescending, (from our little cousins down the road) and now its turned around to who owes what to whom etc? Guys for chuffing out loud keep on track!
PS.
20100 attendance for the visit of the top team in the league, is that all it holds?.............:wink:

Blue!
The capacity will increase to 20300 when McDonalds get the go ahead from the council to build onto the back of the liberty soon.

I just find it a bit amusing the smugness in which Cardiff fans like to ATTEMPT to belittle all clubs that gone through the PROPER channels of administration while doing there business through " Backrooms & Blackmail " ... that's all

Is that the new term for clubs that go into Admin twice?

Yes agree Sussex this numpty really is a plastic fan .

"PROPER channels of administration"......<laugh> ....you ****ed up twice you numpty - **** all "proper" about it.

All you're saying is that you ripped off people twice legally. Foot in mouth again - what a dipstick! <doh>

Having said that, you wouldn't know much about it as you were playing ice hockey at the time. You didn't stick the pin in the UK map to pick a football club until much later.

Anyway, I thought this was a thread about promo from the Champ this season. Maybe started by a Jack, but worth a decent chat rather than the usual Breezeblock crap.

Hey but look at us now..........mid table and climbing premiership side, top of the fair play league in our first season, millions in the bank with millions more at the end of the season, an ever growing world wide fan base, top side in wales.........not bad for a team that was in financial ruin a few years back......the swansea way is the only way....<ok>

Town full of down and outs tho according to that BBC1 documentry last night!!!

Seeing that you have ALL those millions now then isnt it about time you paid back the local firms and buisnesses that you ripped off going into admin twice .........would be the honourable thing to do dont you think?

Proper channels worked well for us , you should have tried proper channels , that way there might have been better investors to choose from . I await the inevitable " Malaysian Marches " ... P.S. I'm not the one that brought up administration , but I'm always " all in " defending it against your backroom policies .

Not the only way Dai, but a bloody good way all the same. <ok>

What? You mean rip people off like you did?

Anyway who are "us"? You were never a part of it at the time - just an internet reader since.

PMSL! Funniest thing I've read on here. There's absolutely no pride to be had in ripping people off (twice) due to your clubs ineptitude to run the business properly. It might be legal but it still shafts all your honest suppliers and creditors.

As Sparkey said it started off a decent thread <doh>

The only difference with Cardiff is they ripped people off & were able to continue without owning up to anything , god bless Peter's signed paper , signed under pressure by a guy who rose you 2 divisions & got ripped for 20 million , grateful bunch the Cardiff fans . Between fans & owners , it's a miracle how well managers & players functioned with Cardiff .
