thing is, you can only say 'think' in your case too. you don't even know what he looks like. ok, we do know what he looks like but he doesn't know we know what he looks like. what we do know is that we know what he might do or know what he might not do, which as we know knows no bounds and we all know that no knowledge is no bad thing in this case. yes? no! anyway, now we've got that clear, there's no way now i've said that, no one can disagree, no? nay. see its simple really!

as warky says, his intentions might be good but they could equally not be.

:D

And its taken us 15 pages to come to this conclusion! <laugh>

When Old Delia crokes it in a few years time you'll be ****ed, Lambert will have gone to a bigger club and you'll be in League 1 again without a pot to piss in. £30 Million in debt yourselves and relying on staying up next year when teams will have worked you out. The future is definately yellow! <laugh>

oh dear, you have started on the meths early today

'could' not 'may'.

Point is, if you guys don't get promoted in the next few years then ME can get out of it without losing his money. Hence you aren't as secure as you might think.

He is taking 8% interest. Our owners loans are interest free. read into that what you will about which owner is more interested in the clubs success, and which is interested in more money.

Thats as maybe but the old girl is knocking on so what happens when she snuffs it?

what happens if she lives another 20 years? thing is, the whole point of my club having a plan is that we won't need a benefactor. we won't need premier league money either. we'll need the fans to stick with the club (a novel idea to you but we tend to stick with our club in troubled times) and sensible people running the club on a budget. <ok>

Delia Smith net worth 13m
Every year in the prem - AT LEAST 45m

add to that a full house every week and you can see where our financial future is going. She is a valued owner, who genuinely loves the club, but when she decides to go there is options.

Unlike the "eggs in one basket" approach adopted by Ipswich

i just had a thought and its not out of the question. imagine, if you will, a scenario where ipswich town get promoted to the premier league in the 2013-14 season. i know its far fetched but hear me out!

we've just made ourselves self-sufficient with our bigger capacity and wage cap, continuing our policy of signing up and coming younger players with re-sale value and potential. then, during the summer, just as the fans and marcus evans get all excited, the football bubble bursts big time and sky pull the plug.

that would be interesting, wouldn't it... fine lines...

It all sounds lovely in your world of milk and honey, a modern day Utopia! Unfortunately what happens when you get relegated in 2012/13?
