No problem from me OS, I realise you are one of the reasonable Cardiff fans, so happy to discuss opinions. The only point I was making was neither you or I are neutral. Three unbiased people told me you were lucky to win and we deserved a draw at least. I also said you have a better squad and of course I would rather be where you are than where we are right now. Maybe just conceed we played well and you were lucky to get 3 points? Either way I won't lose sleep over it
OK,OK, alloverred - don't get your knickers in a twist over different takes on a football match. Opinion - if you say so, you were better than us - happy now? Fact - I see we're 6th in the table and you are 21st - I'm happy now. Del - we were lucky to get all three points no question, and I would conceed that for a pair of unfortunate deflections, you could have got a point at least out of that. BTW, like you, I never lose sleep over footballing opinions. I've only lost sleep 4 times this past 3 years - each night before our 4 trips to Wembley.
That's ok I thought the mighty Torquay deserved all 3 points, and I don't need TV, Radio or any Paper reports to come to that conclusion! The same as all your remaining games I think the opposition deserve all 3 points
Was that deserved- yes.... in that in the crucial area between the centre line and the 18 yard box, Cardiff always had more options. Bristol City, I'm sorry to say only had outlets down the wing, or speculative crosses into the 18 yard line. There was not sufficient support for the player with the ball to engineer a build up of options. Cardiff's build up was much slower, but ultimately had more options to deliver the killer ball. Apart from that particular area of the field, there was not very much difference between the teams, but unless we are able to control that area, and not resort to the speculative cross to Stead and Pitman, which Cardiff defended comfortably all night, because they knew what we were going to do, we will still be in a dog-fight at the end of the season.
It doesn't really matter who played best. We lost, that's all which matters but we lost with a bit of grit and determination which is what's needed if we are going to stay up. Cardiff had more possession and more shots but we created the better opportunities. Just because a team has more possession and shots it doesn't necessarily make them the better team. For what it's worth I think a draw would have been a fair reflection of the game. I've said this before through gritted teeth but Malky has done an awesome job rebuilding Cardiff and they deserve to be there or there abouts come the end of the season. I can only hope we stay up and McInnes can do the sane this summer when most of our squad will be out of contract and no doubt let go.
you ****heads trying to make out your bunch of disabled girls are as good as Cardiff is a right laugh. Although it pains me to say, sparkys dirty excuse for a football side are better than both bristol sides combined, but then that aint hard these days lol
It was what it was - nothing can change it. Lets hope karma owes us one and we get the luck for the remaining games. Cisse and Davies need to start along with Pearson and Woolford/Bryan. Alberts been sussed out as a bit of a one-trick pony and needs a rest mentally I reckon for a few games - on the bench for him until 100% fit. Get him back fit and fresh for the last few games.
