Right the arkle money back special. Have knocked this up quickly. yet to place bets

Al ferof 65.50 @ 5/2 = 229.25
Cue Card 15 @ 6/1 = 105
menorah 12 @ 9/1 = 120
BSM. 6 @ 16/1 = 102
Foildubh 1.50 @ 80/1 = 121.50

I see Pipe is trying the headgear on the quirky Battle Group in the last. I wonder if he has plotted him up for this. He looks well in on Coral Cup efforts.

RV, can i just check the t & cs of the PP special (cant as at work) ... so its not just one bet, its all single bets up to £100 max that they will refund?

Morning all no lappy in time for chelts gutted all my betting will have to be done on the iPod. Doubt I will get to contribute much as I hate this little gadget. Have a good festival all

You going to be able to play in the Telegraph LEague or not, no selections will effect the League average?

Paul's down to ride him so they must be expecting a little cut in the ground. 25/1 is a big price if he handles the ground. Definitely of each way interest to me as I think he's in with a shout of being the best hurdler to come out of last years Supreme.

Zaidpour runs because his only other option was the World Hurdle, where the ground would be even drier, so they take their chance in the Champion Hurdle. Mullins says they've been happier with him this season and he goes there in better order than when he travelled to Cheltenham last year. But the ground is against him.

I know its all about Cheltenham this week and it should be, but just been informed by my NAG ME that BATTLEOFTRAFLAGAR runs today and is a nice EW price of 12/1

I've seen Mullins say plenty of times that the ground is the key issue with Zaidpour. He's better on soft or even heavy - Irish Heavy! The last thing I saw of Willie was him saying they'd go the French Summer route and miss Cheltenham.

It 's going to be at it's softest on day one so the timing of the race is perfect. I think 25's is very big and 16/1 without the Fly is very tempting. That's a first four finish paying out a decent return. There won't be many coming up the hill as well as him.

Paddy power reserves the right to refuse refunds if a customer backs multiple runners in this race. IM OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3.30 Plumpton Flite

Greatrex's horses are in great form at the moment. They're not all winning but a lot are coming second which I think augurs well for Flite's chances in the 3.30 on Monday. Having put up a string of creditable efforts hopefully this smaller field and Noel Fehily will get the best out of her. 2/1

5pm Plumpton Beau Colonel

I'll eat my hat if this horse isn't better than 73 over fences. 9/2

5.10 Stratford Spirit of Shankly (forecast 7/1)

Ran okay on debut. Looked green, ran for the experience in a hot race where the winner has been talked up by the trainer and RV (i think). Should improve for the experience and looks to have been found a decent opportunity to put that experience to good use. If the market speaks for it I'll be having a few quid especially now that Longsdon seems to be hitting a bit of form.

Good luck with your bets lads.

Top shout Quel won very well <ok>
