Maik Taylor has gone out on loan to Millwall, and Arsenal U18 'keeper Sean McDermott has come in. This could mean Cairns has been promoted to 2nd choice and McDermott has come in to cover in the reserves/U18s, or maybe McDermott has come in with a view to a permanent deal, maybe both. Despite having played for Ireland at youth level and having an appropriate name for that position, McDermott is Norwegian born and is apparently a Leeds fan.
