Good morning brethren, its how they talk down here, did you really think you would get rid of me that easy?


I am sitting with tea and toast in the balcony room, so called because it has a balcony overlooking the sea, damned clever these Welsh, 8.46 and just up, disgrace.

When I arrived yesterday I was full of guilt, all I could see was people walking their dogs on the beach, poor Osca, at 5 this morning the guilt was in decline.

Still on a high after Saturday, yes Liverpool were rubbish but maybe, just maybe we had a part to play in that, I know its not fashionable in the MOTD or Sky ranks to suggest it, but maybe we have a decent team, just a thought.

It will be a far tougher test at Everton but really, would anyone bet against us these days?

Now back to Wales, 2 windows in my balcony room, the main one looking out to sea and a side one looking over a green hill and a flock of sheep, do you think Osca would mind?

Enjoy your day boys and girls and join me in looking forward to an Arsenal win tonight, come on you gooners.

does that mean that a team like Liverpool have to match us now? Is a manager of a top team discretely admitting that we are a bloody good team as well now? Or is my imagination getting away with me?

The thing is mate. Since MON came (over 1/4 of the season) We have constantly been in the top four in the form guide. Having played most of the so called big teams in that time, I think they have to respect us.
 
I loved the report in the Daily Mail about QPR which finished with the comment that they had difficult fixtures coming up against Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Sunderland. It's good that we are now listed among those clubs and shows how much we have improved over the last few months.

I know that, Sunderland fans in general will know that. But having a manager of the traditional top 4 club come out and say it? Unheard of. You'll be telling me that MOTD showed our game 1st and that the commentators said that Sunderland made the opposition look crap rather than just having "a bad day" and Sunderland "being lucky"..... Ok maybe my imagination is getting carried away now, but you get my point

A ventiloquist was having a holiday in Wales, he was walking along a footpath that went through a farmyard. He saw the farmer, thought he would have a bit fun.
“Morning farmer” he said, Is that your dog? The farmer nodded so the ventriloquist said “Do you mind if I have a chat with him” “Stupid English bastard” said the farmer “The dog can’t talk” The ventriloquist goes over to the dog and asked it how he was and how his owner treated him, The dog appeared to say “I’m fine the farmer feeds me well, I get to run around the farm, it’s good. The farmer was a bit shocked
The ventriloquist said to the farmer “Is that your horse? I’ll just have a chat with him” The farmer said “the horse can’t talk stupid”. The guy asks the horse how he is and how he was treated. The horse said “ Very good, the farmer brushes me down, he rides me every day around the farm and feeds me well” The farmer is absolutely amazed!
The ventriloquist asked the farmer “Is that your sheep over there?” The farmer jumps up saying “You can’t talk to the sheep ‘cos it’s a bloody liar

I don't think you can class Liverpool as a top team anymore ! Oh how the mighty have fallen - it was interesting though to hear him say that - almost pleading and apologetic that in his eyes they were up to our standard and deserved something from the game !!

They have a top team mentality, even if they havent been in the top 4 for a couple of seasons...
