After watching both games this week,Tuesday we deserved the win, today we played well had a definite penalty not given, looked good on the ball, yes we lost but it was harsh.

I just think if we can play the remaining games at the same tempo, we will survive.
As said there is a flicker of light which hopefully can see us escape relagation.

I thought Cardiff were excellent, one of the best teams to come to Ashton gate this season.
    We won't see many better.
Well done players two fine performaces, and yes I would have taken three points this week.

I didn't think that much of Cardiff at all......IMO we made them look good and let them have far too much possession.
We often long balled it giving straight back to them.
Good job for Portsmouth, otherwise we would be deep in the ****.

Have to say, I was not a big fan of our tactics layed out by DM........Yes it's better than it was......and can't fault the effort.
IMO our front men need to do more by closing defenders down and not allow them so much possession to select their passing..

It's amazing to see major differences in the comments from all sides of the fence about our last game. Depending on who you believe we are either the worst team to ever to play football, or we are a team lacking luck despite playing with better effort.

Based on what I have seen and heard we are finally putting in a good shift and with a little more luck we could have had 6 points from our last 2 games. Now forgive me for being somewhat thick but I haven't heard those comments about BCFC for a long time.

Perhaps the positive ones amongst us can see hope based on our last 2 fixtures so let's keep the faith and urge the lads on to safety.

    P.S. I'm not really thick!

I never said we were the worst team ever to play football if your comments are pointing at my direction.

I did say, we are playing long ball kick and hope. And for much of the game that's what it was.
I don't think we ever commanded the game to come away with 6 points over the two games, but yes we were unlucky not to get a draw against Cardiff.

It's nothing to do with being positive, it's to do with saying it as it is.
IMO you are putting a slant to what was actually said.

PS. It won't take effort alone to get us out of this mess, that's for only thick people!!!!!

I am really of the opinion that we have turned a corner.

Leicester was a pivotal moment. It's the game when the fans and players pulled together as one. We all want the same thing - survival. In weeks gone past we would have got on the teams back after going 1-0 down which is counter-productive. We stayed with the lads and they responded as they did on Saturday. We need a bit of luck for sure but you earn luck and it will come our way if we keep working hard and trying.

We were the better team Saturday. Yes Cardiff had more possession, shots etc but we carved out the best chances. I'm sure had Davis's shot gone in or Brett took one of his chances we would have taken all 3 points. As for the Cardiff fans saying they played poorly - you only play as well as the opposition allows you and we didn't allow them to play football.

looks like we were watching the same game!

Other than Mason I thought they were very lucky to get all 3 points...I would have settled for the draw, but think it was a win we lost

Watching parts on the week night local football programme it was interesting the points one of the guests was making comparing us to Cardiff that when the ball was played to stead he would play the ball back towards our half where with Cardiff with Miller up front he was always running forward and cardiff were trying to play the ball in front of him to put our defence under pressure. making the point that we miss having someone like Nicky who has a bit of pace.

In all not seen many people who agree with how the result went but how many times have we said that we looked teh better team, didn't take our chances and lost. We could have easily taken 3 points against Blackpool as we played well but we missed two easy opportunities, we let in 3 sloppy goals and the ref didn't do us any favours.

Maybe not the best football, and we did give the ball away too much and sit too deep at times, but there was spirit, fight and some skill shown, enough to get the crowd onside and could have given us at least a point against Cardiff. More of the same and I think we may just stay up. So as already said, let's get behind the team and provide that 12th man.
