This is gonna eat up all my credit as im ringing from Ireland!!JPT final I had just 20cent left in my credit after I finished the call!Lucky!
Loving how all the plastics are coming out from their closets trying to get tickets, where were you all last season?! sat at home thinking you were all too good to go to Rochdale and Tranmere home games I bet! Saints fans should be ashamed, the ones who say they have uni, jobs, lives, money issues... but then suddenly find money, suddenly find the time, and are suddenly prepared to travel stupid hours to go to the Pompey game. fans who can't go to games for whatever reason ARE true fans, but the ones who suddenly turn up for the big games and then go back to their closets ought to be shot
You alright on your high horse? What makes you think those of us in this thread don't go to any other games? I'm at uni so don't get to go every week, a season ticket would be pointless, but I make an effort to get home as often as possible for games and have been to a few away games too, one coming up this weekend. Even if this wasn't the case I'd abhor being called "plastic" - just appreciate the fact people are supporting the team without acting so high and mighty, nobody thinks you're cool and nobody is awarding you fan points.
Just coming back from St Mary's. Queue moving relatively fast. Got there at 8.50, left with tickets in hand at 10.20, 30 mins after they opened the ticket offices. Good stuff. You going to Millwall redandwhitecomrade? No fan is better than another. Appreciate that we have people desperate to come and fill the ground for this special game. We have very decent support in this economic climate.
I made it clear that not everyone can go to games for numerous reasons, and that there are people who would love to see Saints every week but just can't... but it's the ones who have an opportunity and have the money and the time, who only choose to go to big matches who grate on my nerves. And the ones who are prepared to spend a fortune on Pompey tickets but then say that a ticket for Derby or Watford is ''too expensive''.
Im used to having to call up the ticket hotline in times like these, if you hear constant music it means your in line, dont hang up
I said that the plastic fans are the ones who don't make the effort to support the team at any other time bar Portsmouth or Wembley... you are clearly not in that category, so you should read carefully before jumping the gun! I know numerous people who shunned going to Blackpool in the FA cup because ''it'll be ****'' but then queued endlessly for Man Utd tickets. plastics do exist.
