Guests are invited to choose the 11 'records' they would take to a desert island.

All my choices are open to interpretation by the individual and imply many different meanings, therefore their relevance is purely subjective

In the words of Dermot O'Leary.... 'in no particular order'

    Joy Division - Isolation
Stiff Little Fingers - Tin Soldiers
    Massive Attack - Unfinished Sympathy
The Clash - Guns Of Brixton
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way
Siouxsie And The Banshees - Israel
John Cooper Clarke - Beasley Street
Bloodhound Gang - Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny
    The Stranglers - Hanging Around
    Jessie J - Price Tag
    The Specials - Stupid Marriage

Before you say what a pile of ****e, say what you would you take! So Go Buddy Go!

As it seems difficult picking out Album's or single's and keeping to a choice of 11... lets change that and say anything goes!

    U2 - Joshua Tree
Pink Floyd - The Final Cut
Roger Waters - In the Flesh
    Coldplay - Parachutes
    REM - Out of Time
    The Killers - Sams Town
    AC/DC - Live
    Green Day - American Idiot
    Stereophonics - World gets Around
Simply Minds - Live in the City of Light
    The Beatles - St Peppers

I could of named loads more with the same artist, but I choose the favourite album by each artist. I know Floyd and Roger Waters are the same but I could not imagin leaving both those Albums at home!

Wow! What a collection of different tastes! I see we have a mixture of 'singles' & 'LP's'... so some of us are geared up for a longer stay on that Island!

I had a hard enough time picking 11 albums... Singles would probably have been impossible for me!

Well I'm certainly taking whole albums. Though maybe not actually... This is rather bloody difficult.
Feck it, songs instead - it'll be quicker to decide.

The Gun Club - Carry Home
    Mark Lanegan - Wildflowers
    Soulsavers - Revival
Desert Sessions - Making a Cross
Queens of the Stone Age - The Bronze
    The Kinks - Sunny Afternoon
The Saints - This Perfect Day
    Gus Gus - Believe
The Pogues - The Body of an American
Eagles of Death Metal - I'm Your Torpedo
The Kinks (again) - Waterloo Sunset

Gawd, so hard. The older you get the more good music you hear.
To choose just great records, or tracks with some significance?
I've gone for tracks which I think are great.

Hey Bo Diddley - Bo Diddley
Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry
I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself - Dusty Springfield
River Deep Mountain High - Ike and Tina Turner
I Can't Turn You Loose - Otis Redding
Stay With Me Baby - Lorraine Ellison
With Or Without You - U2
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin
Homeward Bound - Simon and Garfunkel
    Good Vibrations - Beach Boys
Green Onions - Booker T and the MGs

next 11 would include Free, T Rex, Cream, Cohen, Jerry Lee, Billy Fury, Howling Wolf, Temptations..........!!!!!
