to one i intend to stick to because it reflects my fiery relationship with the Mighty Spurs.....and being called Dona_Mara in honour of my all time favourite player who once wore our famous shirt...i thought i'd ask the rest of you why you have the user names that you do aswell as why you have chosen the avatar that you have???


and those without an avatar...why not???
 
My name's mostly because I liked the pun, not really a punk rock fan. I didn't really want a picture but then I decided that it does actually help differentiate users so I joined in and Kaboul's face seemed the obvious choice.
 
lennypops is my online poker name. It's a mixture of a mutation of my real name and a sort of joke I have about what my mum used to call me when I was about five. It's supposed to come over as weak. (Perhaps in forums as in poker it can sometimes be useful for people to underestimate you).

I don't even have avatars and signatures turned on so can't see other people's. Signatures, in particular, are just bloody annoying. Something that's slightly amusing once tends to get less and less so as you have to scroll down a whole page (in some cases) just to get to the next post. I just find all the bells and whistles annoying, distracting and, at times, puerile.
 
Name because I couldn't be bothered to think of a clever one (might have to change it soon) and my avatar is obvious, brightens my day every time I see her.
 
mine is my actual nickname. No avatar as I just don't see the point/can't be assed.

however, if someone fancies choosing me a sensible, relevant image, I'm more than happy to have one!

YV - cheers for pointing out that yours is of Younes. I genuinely thought it was John Terry. clearly I've never looked closely enough.

I was called CroatiaHotspur because of the amount of croats we had at one stage. Then in the summer we sent the goalie backing and Modric and Kranjcar were linked with moves away so i changed to KingHotspur to reflect my love for Ledley and also because it sounds cool when people call me King. I mainly use my phone so can't even remember what my avatar is.
