Wasn't that what Wayne Rooney was accused of?

That clip brings home how far we've come. Won't catch me moaning after the season we've had. <ok>

    We're bound to lose now! Lawro's predicted a 2 - 1 win!

But Mikey has predicted us to lose, and that's the prediction we should go with skipper. Lawro doesn't count. FACT

need some qualification on what constitutes moaning. Is a critical analysis without blowing smoke up the players arses ok?

Is that the same as "For ****s sake, come on City"?

Not alot of critical analysis in that statement. rather it might start , X did not appear to function on top form today, and was provided with fewer passing options due to the limited movement of front players, and the high pressing and energy of the Wigan defence...........................................

Of course I hope the critical analysis will be more like, the deft touch and movement of the entire midfield created space for a surging run by Holt, ------- for his fourth

i think moaning that players aren't trying is the thing that gets me riled the most. they are trying - sometimes they just have bad games. its truly idiotic to state a player is not trying. even mark fotheringham used to try... indeed i found him very trying...

I guess it depends on how you define "trying" . Players certainly differ in their levels of motivation and their level of focus, which can be seen by some folk as not trying hard enough. The problem is that there are so many factors that will affect their drive, ambition, self belief etc which in turn will affect their performance.

true. i shall narrow this down to the middle aged bloke three rows behind me in the lower barclay who spends 90 minutes shouting abuse at our own players for 'not trying', including holt. as you can imagine, if in his eyes holt doesn't try, his view of morison is pretty tasty... <doh>

As a fully paid up supporter, I reserve my right to criticise what I deem to be below par performances and tactical mistakes.
As I've said many many times now, defeat is awful but if the effort commitment and tactics are there then it's easier to take, and I also understand that occasionally some of the team may have an off day, it's when they have a lot of off days I get bothered.
    Before you all start;
NO I have never booed my team.
NO I do not sit on my hands in the N/P.
NO I'm not quiet during the game.
NO I've not forgotten where we were 3/4 years ago, I was along with the ride all the way.
NO I do not want Steve Morison to leave the club.
NO I do not want Paul Lambert to leave the club "ever".
NO I have never rang Canary Call.
All I want is the right to have my own opinion(s) without being threatened with an earful or any other form of attack!

Far be it from me to argue with Websters or Oxford, to me a supporter is someone who financially supports the club as well as following them. Or has in the past. That is to say because my Son, his Son and myself are Super Members and have the shirt (not that awful green thing, we are supporters.

And of course wishing success takes many forms. Some people wish their club to be successful but not at any cost. It wouldn't for instance bother me if we weren't in the Prem as basically I detest it and all that it stands for. But thats the institution and I realise success is based on position in the pecking order.

I may have allegiance to a political party who have their hands in the public purse, or have failed to represent the best interest's of the people who helped them into the position they find themselves in, should I still "support" them, applaud them, defend them against any criticism? I may be a catholic, do I support, applaud and defend that organisation in spite of what it's done over the years?
Once again you are questioning my loyality to my Club, I don't know why you feel you have the right to do that, and once again you've got it wrong!
I also have a dictionary, I won't lower myself to trade words Nouns or otherwise with you, because I know who I support and why.
