If we get promoted next year where do you guys think we will finish. I hope we could stabilise as a mid table team for a couple of years, would be nice to see us not fighting relegation and after expecting us to win every week im not looking forward to the loss's. If we do go up how many of our current team will stay as first teamers?
If we go up, i'd like us to do as well as Norwich, but that is asking a lot. If we sit in the 12th-16th range come the end of the season, i'd be happy.
If we don't go up, it's not guaranteed we'll do as well as we have done this season. But yes, I think anywhere from 10-16 will do.
I think that the club could easily emulate the likes of Norwich and Swansea IF we can get promoted this year...The squad is still growing together and will get better and i'm sure that NC will allow NA to strengthen certain areas of the team.
I reckon we would finish no higher than 10th but no lower than 17th. ...People keep saying we shouldn´t get ahead of ourselves but after being in the top two for so long I would be disappointed if we didn´t go up. Every week that goes by in which we sit in the top two, I expect us more and more to get promoted.
Too early to say but i will answer the question nonetheless. If we can hit the ground running, much like Norwich and Swansea have done. And also make SMS a fortress against everyone but the top 4 then i think we will do well. I can't see many away wins so our home form would be crucial (state the obvious). So i think 15th would be around where we would finish.
Like everyone, I ain't counting chickens especially given Reading's run but in the spirit of your post ... Finish second and qualify for Champions League (which we'll win the following season as well as the Prem); win both Carling and FA Cups. We'll be without Nigel as he will be asked to solve the Eurozone crisis, and achieve total world peace which he will do with the help of a very large bus. Is my optimism running away with me? Seriously? Being clear of relegation by February and a couple of good cup runs would be great.
