I'm voicing my opinion on the matter not giving a clinical analysis. If people are going to be banned from here for having an opinion, nearly everyone will be for the high jump. Yet you HAVE managed to find every post I have ever made since the beginning of the internet and had an opinion on it. How very strange! Do you have myopia?
Hang on a minute. I never start a war of words with you, I react to what I read. I understand where your coming from. Everyone has an opinion and a belief. But there are lines and and you choose to skate very close to them with a subject like this. Bringing up gary speed?? Come on, you know for a fact it's gping to kick off so why mention it.
I would probably have read comments from him, but rarely read a long username, or take much notice of them. I'm embarrassing myself? I do get that side of it. I really do. I've seen people commit suicide and wonder how the hell they could do that to their wife/husband, children and family. Doing it caused untolled grief and pain for so many people, so I couldn't get my head around how someone could do that to those they loved. Coward isn't a word I'd use. The word I would use is selfish. HOWEVER, whilst I can see that side of the story, it's not an opinion I really abide to in any serious manner, as I simply do not know, and hopefully never will know, what goes on in their heads at the point of suicide. Without knowing that, I can't in good conscience make a solid opinion. For all I know, the mind could quite literally be warped to the point where the person thinks that they're doing their family a great favour by commiting suicide, and that their mind simply can't comprehend the pain it would cause. I know the brain can do some incredibly bizarre things at times.
Trying not to be funny in any of my comments, Billy. I know everything is still very raw for you. I couldn't care a less about some random footballer. (By the way I haven't made any jokes about him apart from the mention of the word coward.) You I do care about. My point about Speed was quite clear, somehow it's wrong to say anything about an Ex Newcastle player but it is ok to call our manager a *****phile. Nothing wrong with my comment apart from causing angst to a couple of pre-pubescent Mags. The ***** comments are actionable. Me, I laugh and joke about it now. Especially with my eldest, she had me sussed and was watching my painkillers carefully. I was tempted by a high speed crash late at night on the A19. 3 am doing 140 heading South and was checking out the pillars and which one would be best.

My thinking him a coward is a personal observation. Calling someone a ***** without proof is actionable by law. How many of those involved in calling MON a ***** have been banned? Chap I'm looking at it from both sides. Coming close myself and seeing what it does first hand. I called my cousins husband a coward at the time as did she. His was money related, in debt and lost his job. I have more sympathy for him than a multi millionaire footballer that destroyed his young kids lives.

Which do you think is worse a living person being accused of *****philia or a dead multi millionaire footballer being called a coward for destroying his family? PS. See, to me, when depression and suicide occurs to someone who doesn't really have anything wrong with their lives, it just highlights how much of an illness it really is. Gary Speed had a great job, a family, a loving wife, children, many friends and a lot of things to look forward to. If he felt that depressed that he ended his own life, then how could it be anything other than an illness which literally warped his mind beyond all comprehension? Someone commiting suicide because their life situation has got so sad is sort of understandable, but commiting suicide when there's nothing actually wrong with their lives other than having demons in their mind for no particular reason really does highlight the illness side of it.
Both are actually really disgusting and both shouldn't be said on a football forum for Christ sake. Aye, Gary Speed was a Newcastle player, so we do have a closer connection to him than yourself which I understand, and they are your views, but don't air stuff like that on a football forum, that's where you are in the wrong. As for the calling of MoN, it's sick, it really is, and action should be taken against those who said it, however whether they actually believe what they are saying is another thing, it's obviously only done to get a reaction. As for making myself look like an idiot, just look back and your posts mate, not just on here but on most articles where you have a rant about us 'children'. Like I said, it's a football forum, passions need to be calmed. If you want to get worked up and lose sleep over whether or not I saw a username, be my guest.
