He's only young so still has a lot of room for improvement and he was highly thought of at Rangers, he actually only just signed a new 5 year contract in the summer. Like I mentioned earlier he has his good and bad points but he's young so still got a lot to learn He wasn't told to leave today, he asked to leave. His reasons were that he wanted to try to save other peoples jobs at the club basically by sacrificing his own, he also said he wouldn't take March wages or be after any sort of redundancy package. He's earned a lot of respect up here today
Very decent thing to do. Unfortunately players like that are few and far between. All the vast majority of players care about is money.
problem for him is that he is left sided, he would have to replace lallana- and lets face it, there are not many players in the PL that are better than lallana. its if he wants to play every week or be a squad member
Surely we have too many players...38 at last count. A couple of fringe players will have to go if we want to sign any PL quality players (should we go up).
as the majority are english then that helps- also foreign players that have been here a certain time like fonte and spider, also a few home grown
Love that comment after his impact tonight! As for this Gregg guy, he played in the SPL so by default he must be a low/mid table championship quality at best.
Yes but you are forming a negative opinion on somebody who you have never seen play, probably know very little about and hadn't heard of before today. This makes you an idiot
I wouldn't mind seeing down here, what he's done for Rangers today by walking away and potentially saving a member of the kitchen staff's job (or someone like that) is very commendable and is the sort of player I would like representing the Saints. Why not have a look at him if there is no fee involved? If he has potential then he could be loaned out if not ready to go straight into the side.
Yeh I remember that Henrik Larsson guy, so bad he couldn't dream of playing for a club like Barcelona or Man Utd. Or Brian Laudrup, useless player. Wouldn't get anywhere near Pele's 125 greatest living footballers.
