It´s time to pick on the positives As always with any defeat, And stop churning over the negatives Just because our lads got beat In case any had just forgotten We´re sitting mid-table right now, Well away from those down near the bottom With more points to come, I will vow And taking points v those who matter As we´ve done so far very well, Will not leave our season in tatters As our points tally soon will tell And to lose to Stoke by just one goal When two or three could have gone in, Does so little damage when all´s told And is certainly hardly a sin Can we replicate the same scoreline When Wigan and Wolves come our way, Then we´ll have completed in double time What we had planned should end in May Let´s just take a deep breath and think back To two or just one year ago, Along the Lambert/Cully dirt track Before we let frustration show.
