Nope, but I can't see us being in a relegation scrap next year. So long as Lambert is our manager anyway. As for you, who knows where you will end up next season?

Totally agree, three defeats in a row is becoming a joke. If we carry on throwing away games like this we are going to be bang in trouble come the end of the season and probably end up even worse than Blackpool and finish bottom. I'm not saying we should sack Lambert, not yet, but if we haven't won a game by the end of March I expect Delia to take action before it's too late. I imagine she'll want a stiff word with him on Monday after this latest disaster and ask him what the hell is going on because this just isn't good enough.

It's clear to me that he's lost the plot, and whilst I'll admit he has done brilliantly for us since being our manager it's become quite obvious in the past three games that he's way out of his depth. I wasn't at the game yesterday but if I had been you can be sure I would have been booing as loudly as the next man at the final whistle and probably before, it was a disgrace.

Not sure about some of the suggestions of possible replacements, Megson might be a good shout but not sure he'd want to come back here again. Same with Keane, I think he would be an awesome man to take over but I imagine he's got his eyes on bigger things, probably SAF's replacement at Old Trafford so he probably wouldn't be interested in us :( Sven would be a good shout though, maybe with Steve McClaren as his number two ready to take over when the silver fox decides to call it a day?

For me though there can only be one man for the job, some of you may laugh and think I'm talking nonsense but I honestly, genuinely think Glenn Roeder has unfinished business at Carrow Road, and now that nasty, selfish trouble-maker Huckerby is out of the picture he would be able to express himself in the manner he was unable to last time around. He could bring Fotheringham back with him to shore up our midfield, and maybe he might be able to persuade Tiny Taylor to come back and plug our defence. Heck, you never know, with all his connections he might even be able to tempt Shola Ameobi down south to stop us firing blanks.

    Thoughts?

When Town finished fifth a decade ago I'm sure we were all saying the same and i expect the Hull and Blackpool fans were too. It happens time and again. I just wonder if that bubble has burst now and you are in for a torrid time, or whether you can improve.

As for Town, if we carry on the way we have, affording a defeat to Southampton, our league placing next season might be a top flight one <ok>

1st point - we played 2 poor games with a brilliant game against Manchester United in between who are third best team in Europe, read world. So no, the bubble has not burst, and Wigan at home will provide a chance to get 3 points more.

2nd point - Top flight next season? <laugh>

Hampy, I think the biggest joke of all is that you actually believe what you're typing!

Munky, I do believe you're onto something with that logically deduced theory of yours <ok>

I thought it too, but didn't have the courage of my convictions to post it.

(If it ever did happen <yikes> I'd have more 'convictions' than you could shake a stick at, ABH, GBH, attempted arson to the Rodent's car, etc etc.)

Doesn't seem likely but 5 wins out of 6 is pretty formidable and our remaining fixtures make it look possible we'll get over 70 points at this rate. Whether 75 would even be enough to scrape 6th who knows...

The other factor this season is that 6th to 4th are tight together so there are three places to play for and not just one.
