How many times have we been told that it's a results game ?

There's plenty of times we've played well, come close, had bad luck, poor ref decisions etc and come away with nothing when we've deserved more, yet people on here dismiss it, saying that results are the only thing that counts.

So we were off the pace today, hardly surprising given the midweek international - but we won, so that's what counts <ok>
 
LFC were more frantic than us, which some mistake for better. We were far more measured and serene. That's why we won. :)
 
Piskie,PNEawf,zaGooner and Jayram all got the correct score and apart from zaGooner all get an extra point because of Van Persie. Loads of points to add up.
 
Table Updated. Hope you bastards appreciate my hard work. Instead of reflecting on a great win I just spent my time adding things up with my **** maths skills. Do not think I had to change as many positions in the pred table before.

I hope you're right mate. I think we're going to need to be at least 2 or 3 up at HT to have a chance though. If we score first, the momentum is really going to swing in our favour <ok>

Said the same on another thread. Two up at half time and its game on. Instead of thinking we are 4 down and out, we should just be thinking about being 2 up at half time. A two goal lead in a half of football against Milan is very possible. If we do it then do or die in the second half.
