As someone who had no money on either horse I can see why you might have wanted them to look at it but I really don't think it would have been reversed.
Now Thunderstruck 15/2 has drifted to a backable price I'll certainly be backing him in the 5.10 Doncaster. Although he hasn't been seen hurdling in almost 3 years, he's improved a lot on the flat since then to now be rated 85 in that sphere. With a lowly hurdles rating of only 99, I certainly think he has improved enough as a horse to be very competitive off this mark. This represents Scott Dixon's first hurdles runner and I think he has a very good chance to go very close at a nice price here.
