It's mad isn't it - I have the week off work and just cannot wait - especially as next week's gonna be a pig <laugh>

Should put a tip up really - my main bet tomorrow is going to be Hikma in the 3-20 at Lingfield. Beaten by a neck last time out and I think his horses are coming into form now - and i always like backing from that yard anyway.

PRANKSTER 4.20 Newbury 12-1 ACCORDING TO AT THE RACES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should be capable of more now sent handicapping. Showed lots of promise last time out and I don't think a mark of 99 is beyond him. Didn't handle the heavy ground when he flopped badly at Ffos Las before Chepstow outing. Was once a listed class performer on the flat with Andre Fabre

In the veterans chase at Newbury tomorrow I think Blazing Bailey is going to run a massive race. I think he's been running over too far and also on too heavy ground and tomorrow's 3m2f on good will suit him down to the ground. The handicapper has given him a real chance off 142 and with Choc back on board I think he will take all the beating.

Incidentally, am I the only one thinking that if Kauto star was trained at seven barrows and we heard the same news I'd be thinking "price goes out absolutely lump on it"?

I always laugh when people have a go at me for casting aspersions on that yard RV - someone on here once called me a hypocrite for backing one of his horses. Load of old crap - I don't like NH but know i might make some dosh from his horses so you have to take the personal angle out of it - I don't like the poster who had a go at me for it but i still give to the Spastics society <ok>

In the first at Newbury I like the look of the Twister's horse Benbens. After winning a maiden over 2m1f he was beaten on his first handicap start over the same trip but, stepped up to 3 miles last time out he was just short-headed by Fox Appeal (in receipt of 13lbs but I would asjust that to 6 for the lads claim) who has subsequently won again off 130. I'm still a little wary of the Twister's form but he usually starts doing well this time of year and he has had a winner and 3 second places from his last 5 runners.

Fair Along is a fine, genuine horse but I think Blazing Bailey can give him 3lbs .................. should be a cracking race

Stick <ok> he is awful sometimes mate

if any of you have a tenner or so to throw at a donkey sand race TAWAKUL should have no problem winning the first at Meydan tmz. Was stunned too see it running over 6f first time out yet it still went off fav. Well outpaced early on but ran a good race to finish 9th of 16 stepped up to 9f and the switch from dirt to tapeta should do the trick no problem for De Kock/Barzalona 11/4 forecast price

    Evening all <ok>

    14.40 Newbury

    Niche Market

He looks the class act and was back to near his best when second to West End Rocker in the Becher Chase at the Liverpool track last time out in December. The handicapper appears to have given him a chance now returning off a 4lb lower mark and this looks a winnable race.
