Apologies for the early thread but a busy boy with lots of golf to play this weekend. Two titbits to pass on and hopefully a first race across the card double; KANGAROO COURT 2.20 Donc has lit up the AW weather recently and the yard think he will make a "mockery" of his handicap mark tomorrow. Meanwhile over at Newbury at 2.05 SUPER VILLAN 11-1 is primed and ready to go for the Lawney Hill team. Been crying out for a trip and gets it tomorrow. I am led to be believe that it will be "heavily backed". The 11's was on Betfair. Best bookie with prices is VC at 9-1. Good luck if you play!

Fehilly could have chosen that one or a decent chance on Ouzbeck at Newbury and goes to Donny.' I was expecting that mate. Bet365 went 9/2 about KC when the market went up. Now 7/2 and 3/1 in places. Thanks for backing that assumption up. Will be getting stuck in to both. Quick question - what's your opinion on the Newbury Bumper? RV, Oddy and myself have had a little chat about it today.
Henderson is the Bumper Master so his MY TENT OR YOURS is without doubt the most likely winner. I do think though that the Longsdon horse Up To Something will run close, I know they think a lot of the horse. It's a race to watch with the notebook close by. Sherwood rates his highly too but surely is far too hot on that ones debut. I could make a case for so many in the race, Kings, the one Rachel Green rides for Honeybal but if you gave me a grand to have a bet for charity it would be on MY TENT OR YOURS.
Right - well we might have a grand if your two come in so it could be full steam ahead by about 2.30! Personally I liked the Honeyball horse after Ron won today but whether he has a horse good enough to beat Hendo's best bumper is very doubtful and at likely prices there will probably be more value backing Needles' shorty that take 4/1-6/1 about Honeyball. I know this will not interest most but something i've been thinking about is what does Honeyball do when Rachel's claim goes bye bye? That will be interesting as she's one of the most valuable claimers in the country and has been for a good 12-18 months.
Quel, they have had a working relationship for some time now having come up through the ranks working at Richard Barbers point to point yard. Rachel is not only the first jockey but also the assistant trainer so its not a case of you've lost your claim I need a new apprentice! They are a very professional outfit and I am sure if they will take decisions that best work for their owners. Will be an interesting scenario to watch pan out though.
I really like the look of BUCK MAGIC in the opener at Newbury tomorrow (2.05) Won a bumper at Taunton back in October 2010 and followed that up with a novice hurdle win at Wincanton when getting the better of a short priced fav from the Nicholls stable (Vico). Buck Magic returned to Wincanton 2 weeks ago to make his handicap debut following a 457 day layoff and finished 3rd of 15 behind an impressive winner (Lovcen). The selection travelled like a decent horse throughout the race and a lack of a run may have proved costly towards the end of the race. He runs tomorrow from the same mark (117) and the booking of Barry Gerraghty looks significant considering the pair teamed up for Hunt Balls victory last weekend. He is available at 4/1 and imo that looks good value. SCALES 5.10 DONCASTER 9/1This one has a win in him if he learns to settle better during the race. He has slipped to a very workable mark of 95 and the better ground should suit. The stiff finish at Kelso may well have found him out last time and I am hopeful of a decent run tomorrow
Cracking little Grade 2 novices hurdle at Kelso tomorrow (3.35). This Tim Leslie owned French import Ubatique looks very interesting - might be tempted by a small dabble on that one
possibly - has already won a hurdle race at Pau and has a form tie with that Henderson horse Une Artiste
Hello Stick. Long time no speak. Thanks for the info appreciated as usual. Hope the family and the golfing swing is well and good Nass / Rv / Quel / Oddy

Super Villian will go well . Had it down to three and he was in there along with Theatrical Star after watching all the replays.
