Im going to be honest, yes they have a bigger attendance than us, yes they are a"big club", they are a famous old club i admit it, there fans are loyal, they have had more recent success than us and yes we do unfortunetly get less media attention locally and nationally than us.
How ever, Sunderland are also a famous sleeping (now awakening) giant, we have won the league (all be it a long time ago) more times than NUFC, we have extremely loyal if not more loyal fans due to our recent un-success and disappointments, we do not get as much media attention as NUFC, but this is why I love SAFC cos we are not delusional and we realise that every thing we achieve we have to work for and we appreciate our success far far more than NUFC will ever realise.

As a collective, I do hate The skunks with all my heart. I also feel that they have the biggest percentage of dickhead supporters in world football..Having said that, there is a number of individual Skunks that I don't mind too much..
