Have you heard the same rumours as us that Lee Barnard is coming on loan to us as we know Di Canio has said we are getting a striker in and word is he could be with us for this weekend.

I Haven't heard any rumours like that.. But it wouldn't be bad.. He desperately needs to get match fitness.. and I can't see him with us for the Premiership, If we are to get promoted this season!

I've heard nothing about it, but it would make sense. You can keep him.

Di Canio and Swindon fans will love his all action style.

Lee barnard is an animal on the pitch. He will give nothing less than 100% , run his arse off and score goals. I think he's a championship player no doubt but sadly has quality strikers ahead of him here. You can have him, but if we dont get to the Prem then i would like him back please!!

He is a great player and I'm a big big fan of Lee, however he has had a serious injury for the best part of a year now and is down the pecking order and lacking match fitness unfortunately, but certainly a Championship quiality striker imo

If you get him, he'll do well for you. He'll always give 100%. Unfortunately for him, injury has kept him out of the Saints side and with the arrival of two new strikers in January, chances for him look few and far between. If he ends up at the County Ground, you'd have got yourself the best striker in League 2, that's for sure.

I don't want to send him to Swindon to work under a fascist scum like Di Canio,he can f**k off back to Italy and support his nazi leaders over there.

Not so sure he's a championship quality striker, but he's a very good league one level player and could do a job for Swindon for sure.

Barnard & Harding both did very good jobs in League One and both good enough for Champ
    Aaron Martin has the potential
Morgan Schneiderlin is just Morgan! A class act

(This doesn't include the obvious Lambert/Lallana's)

I wouldn't call any of them our worst players <ok>

Scored goals by the bucket load for us in League One. No idea if he'd adapt to Championship level but sadly for him, we don't need him to.

Makes me laugh how people talk about Lee. Last season he scored more outfield goals than Lambert in less games FACT. People said Lambert might not make it in the champ well look how well he has done how the hell do people no what Lee is capable of at this level he could be as good as Ricky, he just hasnt had the chance to prove it.

Yeah, sad how quick to forget, or is it a case of wash thou hands.
Hope Lee does well in the future, not helped himself too much here.

If he's in any way healthy, he should bag a tonne of goals at the League Two level. Good luck to him; never likely to find playing time with our additions, and he needs game action.
