with the exit of lfc last night, how is this going to change sun game? their only hope of europe next year is a high league position, but the way they played yesterday reminded me of their early season form, nowt from carroll and suarez didnt play (dont know why), still think kuyt is a threat, so the pressure is mounting on them and sunday is gonna be a real pressure cooker and hopefully we will see some more cracks in their game, do you think daglish will change his game plan at all, a strange bunch this lfc, sometime utter ****e, then they make mufc look like schoolboys, every game is vital for them and i reckon the team they have cant handle it, originally i said 2-1 to the lads, but if lfc of last night turn up, i can see it being more, nowt to be scared of there, and young jordan to play a blinder, just watch
Morning Commachio, said this exact same thing yesterday that the pressure will be on Liverpool who will have to finish at least 5th for a Europe place. This is what SB should be drumming into the team now, we do have an okayish record against Liverpool up here and, if I remember rightly our last Sunday game against them we won 2-1 here's hoping for a repeat of that mate.
or even afternoon mate, they were pretty **** last night, not a liverpool team we have become used to for years, any idea why suarez wasnt playing?
Sorry mate thought you were up early, nothing on Suarez from the scousers although a mate of mine lives down there and knows some Liverpool fans who reckon he was cup tied or something. Possibly bad news for us as he'll be rested and raring to go on Sunday.
probably right, looks like lfc got a bargain for 35 mill though with a certain gateshead lad, talk about over-rated
The man who robbed Ghana of a shot at the World Cup Final? (doubly-triply annoying for me, as I had a bet on them at 35-1 to reach the final and they would have given Holland a better game than Uruguay). The whole team will be out for revenge, I think this could be an SAFC stellar performance -we gonna play them ragged as they attempt to recover from their Euro nightmare. I'm waiting for this team to destroy someone and this Sunday would be the time to do it. We are a very good team for sure and a better one since December, we just need to start dominating games and scoring goals
We are due one lads we haven't really hammered anyone yet hopefully it'll be a repeat of the Spurs game last season without the penalty misses.
I think Suarez was cup tied. I reckon a few Liverpool fans and their Board of Directors will be concerned about Carroll's form. He didn't offer an awful lot and wasn't intergrated into the team. To be fair it is early days for that but the lack of quality crosses must be a concern for them. They will expect a lot more for ã35 million than flick ons (a tactic they used previously with Kuyt flicking on.) If Carroll doesn't provide an early return on his investment will this end King Kenny's hopes of getting the job permanently?
