Last day of season, we need to win, it's nil nil at 90 min, Lallana takes blatent dive and a penalty is awarded.
Option 1. Lallana should leap up and say no it wasn't a penalty.
Option 2. We go up and celebrate wildly.
Option 3. We go up, with bad taste in mouth that lasts until next season starts.

Have to say I would celebrate wildly, feel a bit sad but console myself with the thought that we deserve it anyway.

I would do unspeakable things to get Saints back to the EPL. So Lallana taking a dive wouldn't bother me at all! Besides, any other team would do the same.

I think Wilco speaks for all of us there. My moral conscience would remain unpricked.

I take it i will not be hearing any of you having a go at west ham anymore about dodgy penalty's and decisions etc..
BTW take the penalty and party like you never partied before,

All the best

Might be different if there's nothing riding on it for us but the other team would be relegated. But yeah I would take it, promotion means too much I'm afraid.

It's an unlikely scenario though!

Don't worry, there is no way Herman Hreidarsson will be able to deal with Lallana.

Brooking - maybe it's because the worst decision of the lot was at Vicarage Road on Saturday. Tadders didn't dive, he wasn't even looking for the penalty.

I would much rather win because we deserve it. It would leave a sour taste in the mouth, and people would say we only went up because we cheated and Lallanas good name would be tainted. I'd much rather go up with praise that we deserved it. That said, in the moment I wouldn't give two hoots about anything other than 'we are going up, say we are going up'.

Option 5: lallana does a beautiful rainbow flick over the keeper and a delightful chip shot at a tight angle over the oppositions players desperately scrambling to keep the ball out!

But yea i wouldnt care to much it all evens out in a season!

you have to think of maradona and the hand of god, the whole world knew he was a cheating bastard- but without that action would they have won the world cup ? would we do the same- I think yes. we all like to say we follow the moral line, but given the chance we will cheat if given the chance, esp if after 9 months of competition promotion depends on it. but if it is to be lallana- hopefully hes more convincing than on saturday

Flip it round and its Coventry that have just been awarded a penaltyafter the dive (we are up already by then). Cov can score it to stay up and relegate Pompey.

Do we protest about the awful decision or celebrate wildly with the Cov fans. <devil>

There are so many injustices and bad decisions around i think we would have to take any fortune that came our way fair or otherwise after a ll if it was not for the West Ham player diving over last week we would have took all 3 pts from upton Park

If the Referee gave a penalty I would blame him not Lallana, it would just balance out all of those rubbish decisions that have gone against us all season in one go, no conscience here.
