As we know in order to gain your place for the final game of the season against coventry you have to buy tickets for ipswich and barnsley games in march. I am in the unfortunate position of being in boarding school meaning i cannot go to the ipswich game in tuesday night and we have school on saturdays so i doubt i can go to the barnsley game either but i am desperate to get to the coventry game. So i was wondering if anyone wanted some extra tickets for these two games in exchange for some cash i am more than happy to buy them and post them to you if you buy them. Many Thanks prideofthesouth
from what I have read you only have to buy those for priority, it goes into general sale(database only), 14th of april I think! Im taking my chance.
Although the OS says that, it's not the case. It is Barnsley OR Ipswich, I cant make midweek games and only got Barnsley tickets with my Cov ones. Tickets arrived Sat, so it is defo that. Tickets for Cov are onsale now. Provided you get one of the others, you do not need to call again to get Cov tickets. Mine came with the Barnsley ones.
WHAT? I asked and they told me it was both so I had to buy all 3 at once..and can't even make the Ipswich game. Annoying.
I didn't know it was only one of those games so thanks for that piece of info. TBH i don't really fancy taking my chance on getting them on general sale.
I think they messed up in the ticket office last week, as the O/S defo said both. I rang up to buy both, but the bloke said I just needed one other. I told a few of my mates and my oldest son, and they rang and the same happened. I have the tickets in my drwyer now, Barnsley and Cov.
I brought all 3 , only missed 1 home game this season and 2 away. So hope we are up by the last game or my nervs will be shot .
Purely out of interest, why didn't you buy a season ticket? compared to buying 22 home tickets it would be considerably cheaper?
I'm on holiday for the final home game against coventry. I was planning to give my 2 season tickets to a mate and his 7 year old son for his first saints match ever. Is this aloud ? do kids have different looking season tickets to adults? Would they get past the turnstiles ok? Ive lent them to adults before but not a child as well. opinions appreciated thanks.
if it's an adult with a child ticket, then it's a problem... but they don't lose any money by what you're doing, so it won't be a problem. you shouldn't worry.
I don't think it matters with season tickets tbh as you have already payed the money anyway. I think they are all the same but i don't have a season ticket so i'm purely guessing
thanks . Its a kid and his dad going with 2 adult tickets. Its his first Saints game so i'm really hoping we have created another Saints fanatic, especially if we achieve the P word as well!!
Opinion? Cancel your holiday, this could be the best party ever! Walsall was amazing, but Coventry could be off the scale!!
Until now I have manager to blag my boss to get saturdays off etc. Didn't he would hsve let me at the start of the season. Plus i tend to go with a different groups of mates who prefer to be or have season tickets in different stands. So it's much easier just to buy a single ticket.
Always intended to treat myself one day...have just bought a silver package for me and my son (including brunch because it's an early kick off) for the Coventry game. Couldn't wait until tickets became available on general sale, so my nerves have now been settled. Let's hope we have something big to celebrate!
You should have a great time. Hopefully we are promoted before that game!! The brunch is pretty awesome as well.
You'll have a great day Fran but I have to comment how annoyed I am that the price structure for hospitality this season is so vastly different to last season. Me, the missus and our 3 kids did the equivalent of the Silver Package for the Walsall game last season and it was only £60 per adult and each of the kids were free. As we enjoyed it so much we enquired about getting the same package again for Coventry this season but it's now £90 per person and there are no free kids places so a hefty £450 for the five of us compared to £120 last season...!! At that price I'm afraid it will have to be a gamble on tickets being available on General Sale and a round of fish and chips on the way to the game this time around
I think those great deals are going to be a distant memory now as we push further up the leagues. Success comes at a cost now! Still i bet the kids loved it.
