I sadly think we will lose the derby. Our form in it is woeful at the moment. Newcastle are always up for it and mainly carry the luck (maybe my red and white specs) not in the 5-1 though totally out played us. We will certainly have to do better than this week just to compete. Anyone know who the ref is?
Stuck off the coast of Rio somewhere. Coming in soon though for fresh water and to get shot of a couple of lazy bastards.

Well at least you got aboard mate. Gimme a pm when you get back & we'll try to arrange a meet up that suits you & Jax. I just starting to get back & shift patterns have changed so I not sure what I'll be able to do but we'll fix summat up.
6th in the table, with 7 points from our last 4 games, and we're 'struggling mightily'? Are you for real? You're coming in after a very heavy defeat, we're coming in after a disappointing draw. The game is wide open.
It's just wrong, though. Completely. We're 6th with 7 points from 4 games. If that is 'struggling massively' then I dread to think what you would call the form of the relegation sides. We've had some issues with only Perch and Guthrie in midfield against some good sides, and we've underestimated some sides and took our foot off the pedal (i.e. Wolves), but with our full strength side back, and the fact that we definitely won't underestimate you guys in one of the most important games of the year, this is going to be a high-performance match with both teams at 100%.
Chappaz...agree with 90%. But, to be honest, don't think your side has looked impressive of late. In fact, think you've looked crap. Biased? Yes. Opinionated? Definitely. Really though, nuthin' wrong with that. Should be a cracker, and think you'll come out on the wrong end!
As I've just said, we've had Perch and Guthrie in the side right up to Spurs, and didn't have Ba and Cisse for a while either. We're not like you guys and unsure of who our best CM pairing is because they're all fairly even. With us, Cabaye and Tiote are 10 levels above the back-up, and they've been a huge loss. We got them back on Saturday, and a 2-0 lead before half-time showed that we were doing well, but we took our foot off the pedal and completely underestimated them in the second half. The performance was sloppy and they pulled it back. However, they're unbeaten in their last 4 away games (including games at Arsenal and Spurs) so it was always going to be a difficult game. Put it this way. There are clear-cut reasons why we may have looked 'crap' lately, but none of them should apply in the derby.
