Nothing too major against Sunderland, but I've found the O'Neill love-in a bit inordinate and cringe-inducing.

The OP saying that just because WBA won, they'd "out O'Neilled O'Neill" being a prime example. As if winning football matches is a trait unique to him.

So I'm taking this chance to sort of say 'well done West Brom, more of the same from Sunderland's future opposition please'.

I still think O'Neill should have taken the Leeds job after Graham left. You don't turn that job offer down when you're at Leicester, you just don't. But it's more to do with the reaction than the man.

Couldn't go to the game, but it sounded dreadful over the radio. Already signs of excessive hoofing, which isn't good. Not that I'll begrudge it if it gets us results.

Bruce 32 points in 2011 with only 2 home wins, we looked like going down (I dont think we would have, but it was looking a bit bad I have to say). He also couldnt win a cup game.

MON comes in Quarter final of the cup, 10 wins in 14 i think only got beat off Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal and now WBA.

I just think that any team that had gone through what we had to go through, and then seen such a dramatic change in fortunes, that not even the most optimistic MON fan could have forseen, would be doing the same with their manager, Only manager I can think off that has a record like that and even then it may have been his 2nd season 3am and memory is hazy, is Keegan the 1st time at Newcastle. And from memory they were worse than us with MON, just the internet wasnt around then, but all my mates were ****ing annoying lol.

When your team is actually good enough to play with the big boys again I'll listen to your ****e chum.

Until that time (and I don't expect this to happen anytime soon) keep your simple minded, arse wipe comments to yourself.

    Many thanks.

Not sure we were even second best Cest, think we only got that because there was only two teams on the pitch. Never mind though got an important game next week to get sorted out for. Got to give WBA all the credit played us off the park and, fair enough if the Campbell goal had stood (nothing wrong with it in my book) we still would have been beat 4-1 instead of 4-0.

Translation: I can't think of an intelligent response to your very salient point, so I'm going to put some childish **** about your team being **** and that somehow making your opinion invalid, even though there is no logical connection between those two things.

Iqbal, with comments like the above, what sort of reaction did you expect?

There was no need to come on our forum and utter such ****e!

I expected a focussed and dignified reply about whether the reaction to his arrival was a disproportionate display of total and utter brown-nosery.

I did reply with a focussed and dignified reply, but you totally ignored that and went straight to cests.

Sorry Steve, I didn't see yours. I will therefore respond to it now.

I agree he's done a great job, but as I say, the reaction has been almost painful to behold. Homoerotic, some might say. That's the reason I had a good old giggle after seeing the result, along with O'Neill's history.

I also think its because he done it with Bruces team, the same team Bruce couldnt get going at all and needed time, and there were a lot on here who were calling for Bruces head long before he actually went (last season even).

So there is relief that Bruce went, Justification in Bruce going, Getting MON who cest and a few others did want all along, so justification in getting MON, the results speak for themselves.

If the wheels come off we will see, but even I know and i am really optimistic by nature. that the run we were on couldnt keep going, it had to come crashing down eventually, just hope it doesnt carry on till next weekend.

I am not even bothered if we get beat (well yes i am lol) but as long as we fight tooth and nail and give them a good game, and the score is close, that will do me, if we turn up like last year (and the way we played against wba) I am pretty sure a lot wont be happy with that and will vent their frustrations next sunday.

But no one can really knock MON atm, and MON has made the difference, so of course there is going to be praise for him, which could be construed as brown nosing I suppose, but it would be the same for any team, in any league with their fans, if it happened to them (even Leeds)

One of those days yesterday. Nothing went right, just look at campbells goal on that one. I was just thinking before the 2nd went in that if we could keep it tight until half time we'd be able to change it and get another forward on. 2-0 meant game over.

By the way, what the **** was turner doing on the 2nd goal I think, turning his back on a cross that was straight at him!

Either way everyone was Barry White. Totally lacklustre but it's the first in months, hopefully we can pick ourselves up in the coming games.
