Face it mate - we're going down. Nothing DM does works at the moment. We have forgotten how to do anything but lose. Whatever team he picks it makes little difference it seems. Nothing against him. I just don't think he has the experience to know how to turn it around. We needed an experienced man like Jones or Davies with a track record in this league. Again the board have let us all down as they are totally clueless. I wouldn't want Sexstone managing my corner shop let alone a 'big' club. He is a useless plonker. Rant over.
Starting to think we have totally lost the plot and are headed for the drop thus taking us back 5-6 years. So sad but let's face it, we haven't competed at this level since our first season back in the Championship.
I want to stay positive and say we'll stay up but the past few weeks have been terrible, even though half our squad are out of contract at the end of the season I'd only keep a select few. We won't be able to attract Decent players in League 1 and we definitely won't do a Norwich/ Leicester and come straight back up
Apparently we couldn't meet Dave Jones' 750k wage demands but surely going down will cost us more!? Lack of foresight from the board once again. I'll 100% back DM but I'm losing faith. He doesn't know what his best 11 is. Stead worked his bollocks off like he always has done in a City shirt but yet hasn't been picked for months!? Our defence would struggle in league one. Spence is awful! Why hasn't Ribs been called back?
spence was alright in the first half looked solid as did the other 3 then we turnt to mush and just let everything past us
Shiny I love your optimism and all that but: In my eyes Jorden Spence was ****ing awfull and to cap it off the twat took a throw in and threw it straight to a Blackpool player without a City player near him!! I thought Albert did not want to play today, but Davies looks a good loan signing impressed with him and agree with Del when he said he was really pleased with Steads performance. He does give his heart and soul into the City shirt.
