Even more incentive if we needed one today! We win today and even if the hammers win their game in hand we will be within 2 points of them!

    COYR!

West Ham got boo'd off as well, oh good times. Pressure is starting to mount on them again.
He needs to find out who his best strikers are.....& quick.

    QUOTE Sam Allardyce:

"As a manager you have to take it but one or two of the players in the dressing room were a little disappointed to get booed because we are at the top of the league (until Southampton beat Watford).

"You build up the expectation as we have done recently having done so well, and we didn't deliver today. But the fans have to stay with us and have to be patient, and then we'll all benefit in the end.

"It was not our best day but the last three games, playing with 10 men, caught up with the lads. I might have made a mistake picking the same team, but they had done so well. We livened it up in the second half but didn't hit the heights we know we can.

    Good morning

Not our best performance yesterday but we probably did enough to win the game despite the players clearly being tired after playing 3 matches with 10 men.

I don't think your win over watford was ever in doubt but we are still in a healthy position and are still the bookies favourites for the title.

I think the top 2 will almost certainly be us and yourselves - in what order I don't particularly care and i doubt you lot do either.

You are the team I want to come up with us. I want to see the dross relegated from the prem (bottom three looking good at the moment) and big, proper clubs like West Ham and Southampton back where we belong.

Teams like Reading/Boro need to stay where they are. We have enough plastic clubs with no history in our top flight already IMO.

  12. Morning Trixter,

Not a great game from your boys yesterday but you are capable of better performances than that.

I completely echo your sentiments about the dross being got rid from the Prem (Wigan, Bolton) although I would like Reading to come up with us, even if they are a bit plastic. Would be good for the South of England to be well represented in the EPL.

    Good luck for the run-in...
