I know most of you guys tonight are hammering Pulis and when i saw the squad to go it raised an eyebrow or two !
I actually thought we did well tonight and was unlucky ..... If KJ had got his shootin boots on we could o gone 2 up !!
But what i cant get my head round is we have played x amount of games more than anybody else etc and put the players throo what we have and then when it comes basically to our Euro Cup Final we leave all the lads at home ??
So what was the point of all this ?
Im a little baffled to say the least that the game that means the most we then go and put our reserves out and not even a full bench !
ok i suppose the cudos once again gets raised about SCFC but we put so much into this quest that it was strange that we allowed it go with a whimper !
    <confused>

    PP
That's exactly why two of my lifelong friends are out in Valencia tonight.. totally hacked off because in our oppinion.. T.P. was NEVER bothered about this game..
Such a pity and given the 15 who did travel. Let's be honest we had NO feckin chance of winning with those player's or did we?

True enough, KJ could, maybe should have scored twice but Hey bloody ho... PULIS sent out THREE forwards who have not played 6 full games each ALL season.
The bloody ref denied us a blatant free kick sec's before they score but, WTF was Collins doing PP.. it's like he was standing still. But, as I said. IF you keep putting player's in who are not in form.. you get KJ misssing what I consider a sitter.. the through ball from Palacios. He should have buried that simples..
For me, I think Jerome should start on Sunday and I would have played Crouch.. tonight instead for two reasons. They lack height at the back and Crouch does have the experience of playing in Europe and of course for England.
And, Jerome has the pace to beat Swansea, Crouch does not... still looking for answers like you PP. WHY that set of player's I will never know.

Of course Tony will come up with excuse's, tired player's, travelling bla bla... but.

WHAT happens now IF we do not win on Sunday. MANY fans I know personally will NEVER forgive Pulis for this fiasco because.. that is exactly what's happened tonight PP. To NOT even TRY and I don't think we did TRY or Pulis didn't.. is UNBELIEVABLE. If we go belly up on Sunday. Many folks I know will be asking for his head literally.

Another shining light was Arismendi - we should be seeing a lot more of him in the first team, but I doubt we will.

Its just not about last night though is it?, its the culmination of a couple of seasons worth of the Thoughts of Chairman Pulis.

On the bright side smitty - agree with ye about Arismendi, Pulis will probably loan him out to Macclesfield!!

Nick, I read on another thread that Arismendi's contract is up in the summer. It would be a shame to let him go, but again, it wouldn't surprise me. He seems to me to be the sort of player that TP likes. He's big and physical with a good engine and isn't afraid to get stuck in. What's more he seems to be ok on the ball too, but that's probably his downfall where TP is concerned!

According to the press today, TP felt he got it right and he states "to think that we have been ABLE to give a real famous football club 2 good games."

    PTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I have advocated all along that the next 2 home prem games are the most important, there is a real devil sitting on my shoulder that wants him to FUK up against Swansea - due to his glaring mistakes over the last 3 games! I understand that some fans my feel that this is a little bit malcious, but I do feel that his incompetence and contempt for the hardworking and honest fans needs highlighting! - and a football lesson from swansea would be the icing on the cake!

Ahhhhh - nope cant do it! Come on Stoke, I think we will bounce back to form and save TP's arse hide - AGAIN!

Arismendi I thought did really well guys.. they ALL tried and that's where T.P. is wrong. To expect Arismendi, Woodgate, Collins to perform and win is asking too much IMHO.

Tony, yep we gave them a good game but, we effin lost.. Goal diff does not make any difference so SOD it WHY didn't you play some of those every Euro game?

Smither's I want US to WIN on Sunday more than ever, and I KNOW you do deep down. But, I can see your'e point mate.. Pulis will just laugh at us(the fans) IF we do get the 3pts on Sunday. In part, that is what is really peeeing me off big time.

    Nicky
Just seen what T.P. has said.. "We the fans want another crack at this next season" errr WE have to finish TOP SIX or reach Wembley first T.P.

HOW are we going to do that? Seeing as we can not win at home. The guy is talking through his REAR END.

UP and at EM on Sunday fella's or else I'll have at least two Stokie's ready to hang, draw and quarter someone.

looked to me like Arismendi did really well !
but i suppose not any of us can see him playing ... looks like a good driving force from midfield something we dont really have with height and power..

    P.P.
I would give Arismendi a chance instead of Rory personally. He looked comfortable enough last night! And WHY not he's younger than Delap and even if not Delap he should be on our bench.. I can see a midfield of Whelan, Palacios and Arismendi playing more footie that.. e.g. Whitehead, Delap and Diao.. easily.

But T.P. won't change anything on Sunday.. my guess is Whitehead, Whelan and er Rory. Hope i'm wrong and if it's warmish, maybe Palacios can play twice in a week.

What about the usual reception for the boys but loud vocal disapproval when Pulis graces us with his presence
