I shouldn't have to account to you the number of times I have been to Arsenal or for how long I have been going to matches. If we are back on the issue plastics again I will take the matter higher. It is neither your call nor your right. Just because you are unable to debate issues which concern the running of our club, you resort to openly attack members here. How dare you call yourself a mod!! Your conduct is beneath contempt. You have shown you have no understanding of the responsibilities of your post.
Robin - CYM always resorts to a 'my cock's bigger than yours' argument. He is able to afford and travel to most games. Good for him. So he compares how many games you go to to judge your worth. There are thousands of fans who cannot for various reasons - including PISKIE. That does not mean they are lesser fans. I agree it is better if a MOD does the job, and not dominate and rubbish contributions - but there you go.
I never mentioned anything about being a plastic and i never asked you to account to me and i certainly haven't attacked any members
And I hope its a great game - we need to win !! I'm either 2 year-old grand-daughter babysitting while her parents and my 5 year-old grandson go to his first London Irish match, or I'll go instead of my daughter.
Cym You know what you wrote and meant. That is all I have to say. Thanks guys for your kind responses. Let's hope that tomorrow, we see a spirit in our starting 11 that does GG's side of May 1989 proud.
I thought I'd seen him sat on Chelsea Embankment, accosting the joggers, with his smelly mutt asleep on the pavement. Your description struck a chord with me - maybe they are related.
I don't agree that mods should just mod, at the end of the day they are fans too and so their opinion is as valid as the next man's, I don't draw a line between what they say and the fact they are mods - unless they are name calling on one hand and telling you not to name call on the other. Where I do agree with you is with Cym's stock answers and digs about going to the stadium or not going to the stadium. Someone's opinion carries no greater weight just because they can go to matches. If the argument was about what happened at the ground then of course those who were there would be the authority on the matter., but even this can be argued against because sitting in one spot doesn't mean you know what happened in another spot. But I too find Cym's responses tiresome, it's as if he tries to take the moral high ground because he goes to more games than most.
I didn't mean a MOD should not contribute at all- its more that many take it on themselves to browbeat contributors who are weaker minded than you or me,and certain others, who stick to their point.
