Interesting comment and in a way almost relevant, but of all those that you mentioned how many of them have been in a team that have won the the PL?

Two - Tevez (who has won it twice) and Kolo Toure.

I'm sure I mentioned their names...

Tevez, when was the last time he played for City?

He's with the squad now, correct?

Toure is a mercenary and go to whichever club pays the most money

Plenty of mercenaries don't have a Premier League winner's medal on their CV.

as for the manager; unproven at PL level, whatever success he may achieve is down to money and not pedigree.

He's been in the Premier League just as long as Jose Mourinho was, and his successes may be based on inflated transfer budgets - again, just like Mourinho (yet neither of these are every brought up when his name comes up) - but the ability to spend money doesn't mean you'll be winning title after title. If that was the case, the money Liverpool spent in the last twelve months would have had them doing something other than tread water, don't you think?

The fact you dismiss a manager winning three consecutive Serie A titles as irrelevant is quite baffling.

Also, consider the obvious double standard that nobody talks about Mourinho's lack of pedigree of winning without a bigger bank balance than anyone else whenever they wax lyrical about him. The same argument applies, but is ignored - like the fact plenty of the city squad have won league honours across Europe's top leagues.

Manchester City do NOT have a pedigree of success in winning in the PL.

Apart from the fact Tevez and Toure already prove this sweeping generalisation wrong, the fact is they have a squad that features players (and a manager) who have won numerous top leagues across Europe. Apparently having the mentality to sustain a title challenge in Serie A, La Liga, the Bundesliga and Eredivisie isn't transferable to sustaining a title challenge in the Premier League. By that logic, if Manchester United were dropped into Ligue 1 next season they'd fail to challenge for the title as they don't have any knowledge of winning in France.

Yes thanks for your support,

Arse 22

Spuds 19 (10 by City player)

Scum 17

You are not a bad lad after all, beers are back on me!

I hope I'm wrong but I think getting Tevez back will win the PL for City.....and those 6 points we gave City will come back and haunt us at season's end.

I'm probably going to regret this but, I like you, you are so intelligent!

My previous comment was a response to his.

Is that what it was, I see. :) The short simplistic answer to the question is as you say no, but I don't think I'm on my own in not needing to be reminded of that. Do they have a winning mentality? yes they do, they've over come setbacks, Balo and Tevez have tested the manager to the limit, squad stretched, yet they sit where they are. They've sustained pretty well so far. Looks like Tevez wants to play again and will be a plus on the run in, something I have to admit didn't think would happen, and whatever his other faults are, no defence wants to face an on form Tevez.

Thanks, but don't feel the need to give the scum 6 to even it up, be nice to be fighting it out with you next year, that would **** Sky Sports up! Merson would be in a " Straight Jacket" by November!!!!

I don't think we can discount the psychological damage that will be done to both Chelski and Arsenal in being so deeply humiliated in Europe, this season. Remember when both Manc clubs went out? The Chavs and the Gooners were swamping their boards, giving it large, and making all kinds of cracks about "Thursday night football," etc. Now, each side is looking at a truly humiliating aggregate score that will be more like cricket scores.

That's got to hurt. I don't care what any one says. And especially for Arsenal, who have, yet again, been driven out of every competition, now. It's about this time of the season that they do their usual bottle-job, and I'm expecting it to begin with their match against us.

I can see AFC ending up in all kinds of trouble.

But you are obviously happy with Adde! you cluless ****!

Yes. I'm very happy with Ade, thanks. It's your manufactured, bought and paid for with state oil money, bunch of mercenaries that I don't like. Piss- head tosspot!

I'm a Hull fan.

I want Man City or Spurs to win the league, but the former will crumble and the latter no longer have a chance

39 points left to play for. 7 points behind. Hmm!

So confident AGAIN in your predictions! Have you an amazing track record of predictions or are you just a little naive?
