I think pool are knacked in terms of a top 4 for the foreseeable future.
I think that if Chelsea drop out of the top 4 that they wont stay out for long....but if arsenal drop out I think they will have all sorts of problems over the next few years in terms of getting back in the top 4.
I think Chelsea will miss out because they apear to be in free fall at themoment .

Manchester City don’t have the pedigree or experience to sustain a challenge, Manchester United have been there, got the tee shirt and wear it with pride.

I would prefer for neither of them to be in the running for the title but of the two then United are the lesser of 2 evils, at least they have a pedigree as opposed to being the new (and unpopular) kids on the block.

When Man City fail to win the league no doubt their owners will just throw more money at them, it might make them marginally more successful however it will do nothing for their popularity or credibility.

Agreed. I have absolutely zero respect for ****ty. Their players are all paid for mercenaries who's only loyalty is to their own bank balance. They are nothing more than a state oil money, bought and manufactured abortion!

Both Chelsea and Arsenal have lost the spine of their team...the footballing term!...Cech, JT, FL and DD, were so dependable for years. Chuck Essien in to the equation and after that, many wide players have fitted in seamlessly over the years. Once the spine is disrupted you've had it, and neither club has addressed this properly. And now all recent purchases hoping to fill their shoes (PC not so much) are woefully short.

Mancini has won Serie A three times as a manager
Yaya Toure has won La Liga twice
Mario Balotelli has won Serie A three times (really???)
Nigel De Jong has won the Eridivisie
Carlos tevez has won the Premier League twice, plus titles in Argentina and Brazil
Kolo Toure has won the Premier League
Edin Dzeko has won the Bundesliga

There's plenty of experience in winning titles at the club, which is always (conveniently...) overlooked.

As a City fan for 50yrs plus i'm amazed at the bitterness directed at us from some of your fans on this board, we've been in the shadow of you know who for many years as you have been with "A" I think it's great that we are both in the position we are in now, if we don't win the title this year I would have been happy if you had, we have been the poor relations because the scum had more money, fact, now we have, so **** em! I still wish you well other than that **** suffering in the the ****hole of Spain

Interesting comment and in a way almost relevant, but of all those that you mentioned how many of them have been in a team that have won the the PL?

Tevez, when was the last time he played for City? Toure is a mercenary and go to whichever club pays the most money ... as for the manager; unproven at PL level, whatever success he may achieve is down to money and not pedigree.

Manchester City do NOT have a pedigree of success in winning in the PL.

You have been a fan of City for 50 years yet write like a teenager, how does that pan out?

It's a good job Mancini gets a decent shift from Aguero.

Adrian Bayor, Dzeko (initially at least) Tevez, Balotelli, Robinho, Jo and Santa Cruz set the trend for strikers at City. Get loads of cash for doing **** all.

At least some of those are working for a living elsewhere now.

Silly Boy, who as scored most goals this season! not counting the 6 against you, bless.
