So to recap for saturday... No Marv, no skuse, no pearson, no carey, no mcmanus, no nyatanga... anyone i've missed?
theres only one positive thing i can take from that. "He'll be back in four months for pre-season and we'll be doing all we can to be a Championship club for when he returns." this means he's being offered a new deal, hes out of contract this season
I couldn't remember it either but a load of people on OTIB were saying that he's signed a new deal and not out of contract. It's probably wrong but there were a fair few that said it so thought i'd missed something =S
hmmm just typed it into google and nothing but i read it on the OTIB http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/138287-marvin-elliott/
Either way i'd have thought that we'd have to loan in a cm player soon? Only Cisse and Kilkenny are actually fit at the moment..
cisse will have to step up big time, the same as kilkenny its only them for the next month (Bobby Reid anyone)
I think Cisse is a top player, he was very good in the Prem with Reading and even scored a couple of screamers. Make or break time for Kilkenny though in my opinion, no choice but to play a two man CM now..
Terrible news. But, and it's happened before, that something akin to our injury crisis UNITES a club. We are right in the sh*t, but I'll bet our (fans and players) attitude will be spot on Saturday. C O Y R.
I'm not sure where I've heard this one but I remember someone famous once saying that what's more important than how good a manager might be is whether he's lucky or not. Don't think Del's luck can get any worse can it???
Shiny Strangely, I felt right back before the start of the season that the best midfield line-up was Reid, Cisse, Kilkenny, with Adomah alongside striker (probably Pitman). I would play 3 at the back, with wing-backs. I say get the boy back. He might just save our _ss
