Just three years ago an upcoming Arsenal v Spurs game would have filled every gooner with joyful anticipation and every Spurs fan with dread.
Gooners everywhere would know that we were highly likely to win, and Spurs fans would hope for one of those rare upsets that would give them some relief from the hurtful fact that they were far far inferior to Arsenal
Its now the opposite.
No Arsenal fan really believes we can beat Spurs, but we hope that we can cause an major upset.
Spurs fans everywhere cant wait for the game because they know they are better than us and highly likely to win - and easily.
Its a shocking state of affairs - and one that makes me feel sick to the core.
Its made worse by the fact that Spurs have just over half of our revenues, and pay their players less money.
We can hope of course - but we've been left feeling terrible so many times when hope has been dashed.
