I thought you meant the Rigal, it was marked down to £7 something from £14, and I thought since Gambol (a raging red wine alky) is recommending it it must be good it'll be worth the £7, which incidentally it is!

a £3.98 bottle is a steal though, carryoot for monday night after payday brokeness

I should have said the label and pointed out it's a second bottle wine rather than your first bottle wine. I didn't see any other Malbecs on offer in the Asda I was in. Sorry.

Another very decent second bottle wine is the Cepa Lebrel Rioja out of Lidl for £3.99.

I do enjoy a good Rioja, if nothing else than the pronunciation, it's gotta be the coolest wine out!

I love the campo vieja whenever it's on offer in Tesco, goes down like Vimto but a brilliant Rioja, I think I'm heading to tesco to get another few bottles
