So thats the best we can do after the debacle in mid week. Oh dear.

Wenger again has got it all wrong.

As soon as Coquelin was injured the right thing to do was pull Song in CB to partnet TV and push Djourou to fullback with Rosicky on to play in the centre of midfeild, but no he brought on Squillaci.
He got it badly wrong playing Ramsey in front of Rosicky in the first place.

And why in our last chance for a trophy does he drop our goalkeeper???? These pre ordained decisions regadless of the situation (like the OXO sub against Utd) prove that Wenger is just clueless when it comes to reading each game.

As for the performance today - just appalling. Over passing in conditions that simply dont allow it and little to no work ethic.

I am still trying to work out why, with seconds remaining in the second half, we continued to pass it sideways and backwards instead of getting the ball in the box for one last chance. Just pathetic.

C'mon Arsene - call it a day.

This is what I don't understand. Sunderland are basically playing with 6 midfielders and are working their socks off. But we still keep trying to pass the ball through them. Makes no sense at all.

pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass passs . ooops lost the ball .

oh they have a free kick , oh we are one nil down .

restart.

pass pass pass pass passs .......................................

With is your problem
It was a definite pen and you must be blind not to see it
BTW take a look in the mirror before calling anyone a Jackass
You claim to be a Gunner yet you are complaining about someone having faith in their team

I 'claim' to be a Gunner? I was at the Milan game, I am a season ticket holder, I go to every home game, so I am much more of a fan than you will ever be, so before you want to try and question my fan credentials which is what the blinker brigade often like to do, go look at yourself first.

As for what's my problem, my problem is fans like you who will always jump to an excuse, that was a terrible first half from us, and all you can say is OHHHHH IT WAS A PENALTY, deluded fans like you will always come up with an excuse to mask how sh!t we are, and your a typical one, your so deluded you actually think we still have a chance in Europe. But it's all good isn't it, 7 years with no trophy, and the sh!t goes on, but there's an excuse for all of that isn't there? And no, it wasn't a clear cut penalty, even RVP wasn't complaining, which shows how deluded you are.

And I want Arsenal to win this and do good, but the difference between me and you is when I see complete sh!t after so many years, I will call it, rather than making deluded excuse after deluded excuse like you. You even had excuses for our 4-0 thrashing at Milan, that's how deluded you are.

We are relying on Ramsey to provide our creative spark. Enough said. Meanwhile we have djjorrou, sqelchy and fabianki at the back. I mean thats just a guarenteed disaster. We will need 3 to win because djjorrou and sqelchy are certain to give away at least 1 more goal between them.

Arteta is so average. Decent player but really there was a reason he was at everton his whole career. And there was a reason why he has never played for spain not even in an era on cheapened international caps.

Its depressing that 2 years ago song was the weak link in the arsenal team. That DM position was vital. Now I look at song and am glad he is an arsenal player. Shows how far we have fallen.

Either way we can still get back into this game. Maybe wenger should go 4-4-2 and bring chamakh on....o wait there is no point because wenger shafted chamakhs confidence about a year ago. He never trusts him. That isnt good management. Wenger only trusts about 8 players (some irrationally like theo) and that just screws up everyone else. Then a few inuries and we are dead.

Whereas fergie trusts his whole squad and so they repay him with good performances. Thus they can cope with injuries.

Wenger is a top manager but maybe his time is up at arsenal. He is still world class though and always will be. Anyone who says differently is an idiot.

No Plan B <ok>

Some on this site would have you believe that is rubbish .... but I am no fool, I know a lack of Plan B when I see it.

Sunderland are showing more desire and passion than us which is criminal. Where are our leaders on the pitch ? It is clear Wenger picked a team to help us get 4th, he is showing little desire to won the FA Cup.

Yep, this.

That's why van Persie didn't protest when he went down. O'Shea definitely got the ball before he got van Persie. That is pretty clear.

Poor performance, overall. We started off well, but then we faded away and started pointlessly passing it around. There's also very little speed or movement on the pitch to create space for our wingers to move into. We really need a creative player and badly.

Sunderland have harried our players and have bullied them off the ball, at times. They've let us have possession of the ball whilst they stay well-organised in midfield and defence and then when they retain the ball, they break with pace. Sunderland have shown much more purpose going forward and look more energetic (understandably).

Vermaelen was almost responsible for us conceding a second goal because he had a blood rush to the head and went storming forward to where the strikers are meant to be. God knows why. And then Seb Larsson whipped in a pinpoint cross which Fabianski did well to put off Colback from scoring.

Sebastien Squillaci and Johan Djourou in defence is not a good sign. They dwell too long on the ball and panic.

For the free-kick which led to the goal, all Djourou had to do was boot it as soon as Vermaelen gave it to him. But no. He took a touch and by then Gardner had already closed him down.

Naive and very poor defending. Can't believe we gave Djourou a long-term contract.

Exactly right - and followed a moment where he could have been sent off. He wasnt concentrating or composed. Precisiely the reason he is not good enough.

If we go out today there is a chance Wenger might walk. Surely not even he could cling on.

cheap words with no proof <doh>

Stop crying like a bitch all the time ffs.

He will never jump, he will be pushed... also, that won't happen until the end of this season. I will be shocked if he walks mid-way through the season.

If we go out and don't make fourth he'll go. He'll be pressured by the fans.

Why do we keep crossing the ball FFS, who do we expect to win it ??

This is the dumbest tactic ever, cross the ball to short arses who don't have a chance in hell of winning the ball. If we had Chamakh on I might understand it. <doh>

Fukkin divs !

If we go out and don't make fourth he'll go. He'll be pressured by the fans.

Hmmm... like I said, I think he's too stubborn to go on his own accord. I guess we'll be told it was a 'mutual decision' if it comes to that.

Regardless of where we finish though, RVP is leaving and I don't blame him one bit.

i think or hope your plan b has just come on. a very average gooners performance. come on you reds. a draw would be useful.

Hmmm... like I said, I think he's too stubborn to go on his own accord. I guess we'll be told it was a 'mutual decision' if it comes to that.

I love the old 'mutual decision' bullshit.... Like everyone concerned decided he should leave at the exact same time, including Wenger!

I'd love to know the truth behind most of these 'mutual consent decisions'
