here will be another prmotionon NW's cv before too much longer. As previoslly said, can see him coming back to QPR to get Shaun Derry, Clint Hill (out of contract in the summer), Agyeman and One Size.
Good appointment - be interesting to see how long the peace last between him and bates though

Made me laugh as it is a bit strong, however kind of felt that way about NW before he came to us (QPR) now I am a fully converted Warnock fan. After a while you start to see just what a good manager he is and really protects his players and is able to piss people off to your advantage.

I am still gutted that he was given the elbow and think it was a mistake he built a Chamionship winning team on a shoe string and the start of a Prem team on zero budget, he did get a few million in the last 10 days before the window closed would have like to see what he would have done given the chance.

If it clicks with Bates you will be in the Prem soon, good luck Leeds & NW.

I am happy and since this season has been well and truly ****ed up by giving Redfearn temporary control over matters it looks like Warnock is going to get one hell of a long pre-season.... I just hope he can drain some of our money back out of bates for a few signings that he is going to need in order for promotion next season.

Haha! Can't remember what we argued about, but who cares now? Seems we might have a future after all, but probably not this season. NW has got a lot of work to do, however. I was hoarse again after the match. What a crap bunch of players we had playing. Players, not a team, sadly.

Tbh, the most likely way he's going to get money is to sell (or in most cases, get rid).

You can say many, many things about NW, but one thing you can never take away from him is that he can spot a player, and bring out the best in him. I think he'll have a much better record than Larry for bringing in players that count. And cheaply too!

Have to agree, I was never comfortable with many of Simons signings, Pugh a waste of £500k when we were crying out for a defender, Mika, Forssell, Paynter, O'Dea.. Interesting we started with Bruce today, I wonder if that was under the instruction of Warnock. I have a feeling we are going to be feeling somewhat annoyed by a few new players through the Elland Road door at the end of the season but if NW sees something in them that he can work with and mould into a promotion winning team I won't complain.
